The Cottage Experience

The VMJ Cottage is situated to provide guests with a full nature ambiance. It is an ideal spot for nature lovers and especially bird watchers, as the property is frequented by rare and beautiful birds such as the Malabar Whistling Thrush and the Ultramarine Flycatcher. Guests can literally get close to Wayanad’s wild animals, including elephants, bears, gaurs, and even tigers, from the safety of the property. The cottage offers a comfortable stay with a serene coffee garden view. For communal activities, there are open-area sitting benches perfect for sightseeing and relaxation. Facilities inside the cottage include a western-type toilet and 24 hours of hot water supply. Guests have the convenient option of utilizing a kitchen equipped with vessels and a gas stove, available at an extra cost, allowing for self-catering during their stay.

The Hut and Tree House Stay

For those seeking a more unconventional and refreshing experience, the Hut Stay and Tree House Stay offer a unique departure from normal accommodation. These elevated stays are designed to transport you to an ancient lifestyle while still providing essential facilities. The huts are built approximately 15 feet high from the ground level, accessible via a 10-meter bridge from the road, enhancing the sense of seclusion and adventure. A key feature is the wild-view open sit-out, providing uninterrupted vistas of the surrounding forest and wildlife. The interior and exterior design is majestic and ethnic, yet simplicity is the key feature we maintain with elegance. All rooms within the resort are spacious, ensuring both comfort and luxury.
