Nadapuram: പത്ത് വയസ്സ് പ്രായമുള്ള ബാലികയെ നിരന്തരമായി ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമത്തിന് വിധേയമാക്കുകയും ബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്‌ത പ്രതിക്ക് 43 വർഷം കഠിന തടവും 10,5000 രൂപ പിഴയും ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചു. വാണിമേൽ പരപ്പുപാറ സ്വദേശി ദയരോത്ത് കണ്ടി ഷൈജു(42)വിനെതിരെയാണ് നാദാപുരം ഫാസ്റ്റ് ട്രാക്ക് സ്പെഷ്യൽ കോടതി ജഡ്‌ജ് കെ. നൗഷാദലി ശിക്ഷിച്ചത്. കോട്ടയം സ്വദേശിനിയായ അമ്മ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് പോയതിനേതുടർന്ന് അച്ഛനോടും രണ്ടാനമ്മയോടുമൊപ്പം പരപ്പുപാറയിലും, പാതിരിപ്പറ്റയിലും അതിജീവിത വാടകയ്ക്ക് താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ഇതിനിടയിൽ പരപ്പുപാറയിലെ വാടകവീട്ടിൽ വച്ചാണ് പ്രതി കുട്ടിയെ ബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്‌തത്‌. സംഭവത്തെ തുടർന്ന് നാട്ടുകാർ ബാലികസദനത്തിലേക്ക് മാറ്റിയ അതിജീവിത നൽകിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ വളയം പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്ത് പ്രതിയെ കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
വളയം ഇൻസ്പെക്ട‌ർമാരായ ജെ ആർ രഞ്ജിത് കുമാർ, ഇ വി ഫായിസ് അലി എ എസ് ഐ കുഞ്ഞുമോൾ എന്നിവരാണ് കേസന്വേഷണം പൂർത്തീകരിച്ച് കുറ്റപത്രം സമർപ്പിച്ചത്. പ്രോസിക്യൂഷൻ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് 14 സാക്ഷികളെ വിസ്ഥരിക്കുകയും 17 രേഖകൾ ഹാജരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പ്രോസിക്യൂഷനു വേണ്ടി പബ്ലിക് പ്രോസിക്യൂട്ടർ മനോജ് അരൂർ ഹാജരായി. എ എസ് ഐ ഷാനി, പി എം പ്രോസിക്കേഷൻ നടപടികൾ ഏകോപിപ്പിച്ചു.
Nadapuram: The accused who repeatedly sexually assaulted and raped a ten-year-old girl has been sentenced to 43 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,5000. Judge K. Naushadali of the Nadapuram Fast Track Special Court sentenced Dayaroth Kandi Shaiju (42), a native of Vanimel, Parapupara. After his mother, a native of Kottayam, abandoned him, Surjeeva had been living in rented accommodation in Parapupara and Pathiripatta with her father and stepmother.
In the meantime, the accused raped the girl in a rented house in Parapupara. Following the incident, the Valayam police registered a case and produced the accused in court based on the complaint filed by Surjeevaeva, who was shifted to a children’s home by the locals.
Valayam inspectors J R Ranjith Kumar and EV Faiz Ali ASI Kunjumol completed the investigation and submitted the charge sheet. The prosecution examined 14 witnesses and produced 17 documents. Public Prosecutor Manoj Aroor appeared for the prosecution. ASI Shani, PM coordinated the prosecution proceedings.
