Mukkam: മുക്കത്ത് യുവാവിനെ വീട്ടില്‍കയറി സംഘംചേര്‍ന്ന് മര്‍ദിച്ചു. തോട്ടത്തിന്‍കടവ് കല്‍പുഴായിയില്‍ പുല്‍പറമ്പില്‍ പ്രജീഷാണ് വീട്ടില്‍ ക്രൂരമര്‍ദനത്തിന് ഇരയായത്. ബുധനാഴ്ച രാത്രി പത്തേകാലോടെയാണ് സംഭവം. ബഹളം കേട്ട് അയവാസികള്‍ ഓടിവന്നപ്പോഴേക്കും അക്രമികള്‍ വാഹനത്തില്‍ രക്ഷപെടുകയായിരുന്നു. പ്രജീഷിന്‍റെ സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ ബന്ധുക്കളാണ് മര്‍ദ്ദനത്തിന് പിന്നിലെന്നാണ് ആരോപണം. തലയ്ക്കും മുഖത്തും ഗുരുതര പരിക്കേറ്റ പ്രജീഷിനെ ആദ്യം മുക്കത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
Mukkam: Youth Brutally Attacked at Home, Police Register Attempt to Murder Case. A youth was brutally assaulted by a group that forcefully entered his house in Mukkam. The victim, Prajeesh from Pulparambil, Kalpuzhayi, Thottathinkadavu, was attacked on Wednesday night around 11:15 PM. Hearing the commotion, neighbors rushed to the scene, but the assailants had already escaped in a vehicle. Reports suggest that the attack was carried out by relatives of Prajeesh’s friend’s wife.
Prajeesh sustained severe injuries to his head and face. He was initially admitted to a private hospital in Mukkam but was later shifted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. He remains under treatment in an unconscious state. Mukkam police have registered a case for attempted murder. Police, along with the fingerprint and dog squad teams, have conducted an investigation at the scene.
