Wayanad: സ്ഥിരം കുറ്റവാളിയായ യുവാവിനെ കാപ്പ നിയമ പ്രകാരം നാട് കടത്തി. തൃക്കൈപ്പറ്റ നെല്ലിമാളം കുന്നത്ത് വീട്ടിൽ സി. ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണ‌നെ(31)യാണ് വയനാട് ജില്ലയിൽ നിന്നും നാട് കടത്തിയത്.
സൈബർ കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങൾക്ക് പുറമെ മീനങ്ങാടി, മേപ്പാടി എന്നീ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിലും ഇയാൾക്കെതിരെ കേസുകളുണ്ട്. കേരള സാമൂഹ്യ വിരുദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ (തടയൽ) നിയമം വകുപ്പ് പ്രകാരമാണ് ജില്ലയിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു വർഷത്തേക്ക് ഇയാളെ നാടുകടത്തിയത്. ഉത്തരവ് ലംഘിച്ചാൽ മൂന്നു വർഷം വരെ തടവു ശിക്ഷ ലഭിക്കാവുന്ന കുറ്റമാണ്. ജില്ല പൊലീസ് മേധാവി തപോഷ് ബസുമതാരി സമർപ്പിച്ച റിപ്പോർട്ടിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ കണ്ണൂർ മേഖല ഡി.ഐ.ജി യതീഷ് ചന്ദ്രയുടെ ഉത്തരവ് പ്രകാരമാണ് നടപടി.
Wayanad: A habitual offender has been exiled from the district under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAAPA). The accused, C. Unnikrishnan (31) from Nellimalam Kunnath House, Thrikkipatta, was expelled for one year.
Apart from cyber crimes, multiple cases were registered against him at Meenangadi and Meppadi police stations. As per the KAAPA Act, violating the order could result in imprisonment of up to three years. The action was taken based on a report submitted by District Police Chief Taposh Basumatari, following an order from Kannur Range DIG Yatheesh Chandra.
