Omassery: ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പരിധിയിലെ 9 സ്കൂളുകളിലും 5 അങ്കണവാടികളിലുമായി പഠിക്കുന്ന ഡയപ്പറുകൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന മുഴുവൻ ഭിന്നശേഷി വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും Koduvally BRC യുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ ഭരണസമിതിയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ ഡയപ്പറുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.
ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തി മുപ്പത്തി മുവ്വായിരം രൂപ ചെലവഴിച്ച്‌ ഒരു വർഷത്തേക്കുള്ള ഡയപ്പറുകളാണ്‌ ഭിന്നശേഷി കുട്ടികൾക്ക് സൗജന്യമായി വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്‌. പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ പരിധിയിലെ ഉദാരമതികളിൽ നിന്നും സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും പദ്ധതിക്കാവശ്യമായ മുഴുവൻ ഫണ്ടും ശേഖരിച്ചാണ്‌ BRC യിലെ സ്പെഷ്യൽ എജ്യുക്കേറ്റർമാർ ‘ഡയപ്പർ ബാങ്ക്‌’ ദൗത്യം പൂർത്തീകരിച്ച്‌ അനുകരണീയ മാതൃക തീർത്തത്‌.
Omassery കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി ഹാളിൽ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ പി.കെ.ഗംഗാധരൻ ഉൽഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ആരോഗ്യ-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ കെ.കരുണാകരൻ മാസ്റ്റർ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. വികസന സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ യൂനുസ്‌ അമ്പലക്കണ്ടി മുഖ്യപ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. BRC ട്രൈനർ കെ.ഷൈജ പ്രാർത്ഥനാ ഗീതം ചൊല്ലി.

Omassery: In a remarkable initiative, the Koduvally BRC, in collaboration with the Panchayat administration, has distributed free diapers to all differently-abled students who require them across nine schools and five Anganwadis in the panchayat region.
This year-long supply of diapers, worth ₹1,33,000, was made possible through generous contributions from local donors and institutions. Special educators from BRC successfully executed the “Diaper Bank” mission, setting an inspiring example of community-driven welfare.
The distribution event was inaugurated by Panchayat President P.K. Gangadharan at Omassery Community Hall. The event saw participation from various local officials, educators, and social workers, with speeches highlighting the importance of inclusive education and community support.
This initiative stands as a model for social responsibility, ensuring better hygiene and comfort for differently-abled students in the region.
