Omassery: ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ 2024-25 വർഷത്തെ Pain and Palliative Care Project ന്റെ ഭാഗമായി നടത്തുന്ന പാലിയേറ്റീവ്‌ വളണ്ടിയർമാർക്കുള്ള ത്രിദിന പരിശീലനത്തിന്‌ പഞ്ചായത്ത് കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി ഹാളിൽ തുടക്കമായി. 19 വാർഡിൽ നിന്നും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട സേവന സന്നദ്ധരായ വളണ്ടിയർമാരാണ്‌ പരിശീലനത്തിൽ സംബന്ധിക്കുന്നത്‌. ആദ്യ ദിനത്തിൽ തിയറി ക്ലാസ്‌ പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു.ഇന്നും നാളെയും ഫീൽഡ്‌ പരിശീലനമാണ്‌ നൽകുന്നത്‌. Palliative Care Project ൽ വിവിധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കായി പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ ഡവലപ്‌മെന്റ്‌ ഫണ്ടിൽ നിന്നും പത്തര ലക്ഷം രൂപയാണ്‌ ഈ സാമ്പത്തിക വർഷം നീക്കിവെച്ചത്‌.
ത്രിദിന പരിശീലനം പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ പി.കെ.ഗംഗാധരൻ ഉൽഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. വികസന സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ യൂനുസ്‌ അമ്പലക്കണ്ടി അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. മുൻ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ പി.അബ്ദുൽ നാസർ, മുൻ ആരോഗ്യ-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർപേഴ്സൺ ഫാത്വിമ വടിക്കിനിക്കണ്ടി, പഞ്ചായത്തംഗങ്ങളായ സി.എ.ആയിഷ ടീച്ചർ, മൂസ നെടിയേടത്ത്‌, ബീന പത്മദാസ്‌, എം.ഷീല, എച്ച്‌.എം.സി.അംഗം പി.വി.സ്വാദിഖ്‌, ഹെൽത്ത്‌ ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ കിഷോർ കുമാർ, പി.അബ്ദുൽ മജീദ്‌ മാസ്റ്റർ ജാറം കണ്ടി, കമല ചന്തുക്കുട്ടി എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു. മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസർ ഡോ:പി.രമ്യ സ്വാഗതവും പഞ്ചായത്തംഗം കെ.പി.രജിത നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു. പി.വി.സ്വാദിഖ്‌, നഴ്സ്‌ എൻ.പി.അനു, ഫിസിയോ തെറാപിസ്റ്റ്‌ ടി.പി.ജഗന്യ, പാലിയേറ്റീവ്‌ നഴ്സ്‌ എ.പി.ദേവി എന്നിവർ ആദ്യ ദിന പരിശീലനത്തിന്‌ നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
As part of the 2024-25 Pain and Palliative Care Project of Omassery Grama Panchayat, a three-day training program for palliative care volunteers has begun at the Panchayat Community Hall. Volunteers selected from 19 wards are participating in the training. The first day focused on theoretical sessions, while field training will be provided on the following two days. The Panchayat has allocated ₹10 lakh from its development fund for various activities under this project.
The training was inaugurated by Panchayat President P.K. Gangadharan, with Development Standing Committee Chairman Yunus Ambalakandi presiding over the function. Several dignitaries, including former Panchayat President P. Abdul Nasar, former Health & Education Standing Committee Chairperson Fathima Vadikkinikandi, and Panchayat members C.A. Ayisha Teacher, Moosa Nediyeadath, Beena Padmadas, M. Sheela, and H.M.C. member P.V. Swadikh, addressed the gathering. Health Inspector Kishore Kumar, P. Abdul Majeed Master, and Kamala Chandukutti also spoke at the event.
Medical Officer Dr. P. Ramya welcomed the attendees, while Panchayat Member K.P. Rajitha delivered the vote of thanks. The first-day training was led by P.V. Swadikh, Nurse N.P. Anu, Physiotherapist T.P. Jaganya, and Palliative Nurse A.P. Devi.
