Thamarassery MDMA വേട്ട, രണ്ടു പേർ പിടിയിൽ

Thamarassery: കത്തീഡ്രൽ ചർച്ചിന് മുൻശത്തെ ലോഡ്ജിൽ ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി ഡിവൈഎസ്പിയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള പ്രത്യേക സ്കോഡും, താമരശ്ശേരി പോലീസും നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ MDMA എസഹിതം രണ്ടു പേർ പിടിയിലായി.

ആറു വർഷത്തോളമായി താമരശ്ശേരി ഭാഗത്ത് താമസിക്കുന്ന ഹിറ്റാച്ചി ഉടമയും, ഡ്രൈവറായും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന വയനാട് വെള്ളമുണ്ട കൊട്ടാരക്കുന്ന് നിബിൻ (32), താമരശ്ശേരി അമ്പായത്തോട് കയ്യേലിക്കൽ മുഹമ്മദ് ഷാനിഫ് (27) എന്നിവരാണ് പോലീസിൻ്റെ പിടിയിലായത്.

നിബിൻ പകൽ ഹിറ്റാച്ചി ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയും, രാത്രി കാലത്ത് ലഹരി വിൽപ്പന നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ആളാണ്.

ഇരുവരും അമ്പായത്തോട് കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ലഹരി ശൃംഖലയിൽ കണ്ണികളാണ്.

Thamarassery: Two individuals were arrested with MDMA during a raid conducted last night by a special squad under the DYSP and the Thamarassery police at a lodge in front of the Cathedral Church.

The arrested have been identified as Nibin (32), a native of Kottarakkunnu, Vellamunda, Wayanad—currently residing in the Thamarassery area for the past six years and working as a Hitachi operator—and Muhammad Shanif (27) from Kayyelikkal, Ambayathode, Thamarassery.

Nibin is known to operate heavy equipment during the day and allegedly sells narcotics at night. Both individuals are suspected to be key links in a drug distribution network centered around Ambayathode.
