Kozhikode: പന്തീരാങ്കാവ് മഹാവിഷ്ണുക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ വിഗ്രഹത്തിൽ ചാർത്തിയ സ്വർണമാല മോഷ്ടിച്ച കേസിൽ മേൽശാന്തി പൊലീസ് പിടിയിലായി. പാലക്കാട് അന്തിയാലൻക്കാട് കപൂർ സ്വദേശി ഹരികൃഷ്ണൻ (37) ആണ് പന്തീരാങ്കാവ് പോലീസിന്റെ പിടിയിലായത്.
Kozhikode: The head priest (Melshanti) has been arrested by the police in connection with the theft of a gold chain from the idol at the Pantheerankavu Mahavishnu Temple. The accused, Harikrishnan (37), is a native of Kapur in Anthiyalan Kadu, Palakkad, and was taken into custody by the Pantheerankavu police.
According to the police, Harikrishnan stole a 13-gram gold chain that had been adorned on the idol at the Pantheerankavu Mahavishnu Temple. He reportedly removed the chain from the idol and pledged it at a jewelry store. The police have begun efforts to recover the stolen chain.
