Thamarassery: താമരശ്ശേരി ഷഹബാസ് വധക്കേസിലെ കുറ്റാരോപിതരായ രണ്ടു കുട്ടികൾ പ്രവേശനം നേടിയ ഈങ്ങാപ്പുഴ MGM ഹയർ സെക്കൻ്ററി സ്കൂളിനു മുന്നിൽ MSF, KSU, യുവമോർച്ച പ്രവർത്തകർ പ്രതിഷേധ സമരം നടത്തി.
കുറ്റാരോപിതർ ഈ സ്കൂളിൽ തുടർന്നാൽ മറ്റു കുട്ടികളുടെ പഠനത്തെ ബാധിക്കുമെന്നാണ് സമരക്കാരും, സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയ രക്ഷിതാക്കളും ആരോപിക്കുന്നത്. സ്കൂൾ ഗെയ തുറന്ന് അകത്തു കടക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച പ്രവർത്തകരെ പോലീസ് തടഞ്ഞു. പിന്നീട് MSF, KSU പ്രവർത്തകർ റോഡിൽ കുത്തിയിരുപ്പ് സമരം നടത്തി.
Protests erupted in front of Eengapuzha MGM HSS as MSF, KSU, and Yuva Morcha activists opposed the admission of two students accused in the Shahabas murder case. Protesters, joined by parents, claimed their presence could disrupt the school environment. Police blocked an attempt to enter the school, following which activists staged a sit-in on the road.
