Adivaram: താമരശ്ശേരി ചുരത്തില്‍ ദേഹാസ്വാസ്ത്യം അനുഭവപ്പെട്ട ലോറി ഡ്രെെവര്‍ക്ക് രക്ഷകരായി ചുരം ഗ്രീന്‍ ബ്രിഗേഡ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരായ ഗഫൂറും, വിനുവും. ഇന്നലെ വെെകിട്ട് ചുരം ഒൻപതാം വളവിലാണ് സംഭവം.
ചുരത്തിലൂടെയുള്ള പതിവ് സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിന് പോകുമ്പഴാണ് വാഹനം സൈഡാക്കി റോഡിലിരിക്കുന്ന പാലക്കാട് സ്വദേശിയായ പ്രഭാകരനെന്ന ഡ്രെെവറെ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെട്ടത്. ക്ഷീണിതനായ ഇയാളെ അടിവാരത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലില്‍ എത്തിച്ച് പ്രാഥമിക ചികില്‍സ ലഭ്യമാക്കി. വാഹനം അടിവാരത്ത് എത്തിച്ച് നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
ചുരത്തില്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ കേടാവുന്നതും ബ്ലോക്കാവുന്നതും പതിവായത് കൊണ്ട് ബ്രിഗേഡ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ചുരത്തിലൂടെ റോന്ത് ചുറ്റുന്നത് പതിവാണ്.ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ പ്രയാസപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് താങ്ങാവാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നതില്‍ സന്തോഷമുണ്ടെന്ന് ചുരം ബ്രിഗേഡ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
Adivaram: Churam Green Brigade workers Ghafoor and Vinu came to the rescue of a lorry driver who experienced physical discomfort on the Thamarassery Churam.
The incident took place yesterday evening at the 9th hairpin bend of the ghat road. During their routine patrol through the Churam, the volunteers noticed a lorry parked by the roadside with its driver, Prabhakaran from Palakkad, appearing exhausted. They promptly took him to a private hospital in Adivaram for first aid and later ensured the vehicle was safely moved to Adivaram.
As vehicle breakdowns and roadblocks are common in the Churam area, Brigade members regularly patrol the stretch. They expressed happiness in being able to support those in distress.
