Thamarassery: രാസവള വിലവർദ്ധനവ് തടയുക, സബ്സിഡി വെട്ടിക്കുറച്ച കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ നടപടി പിൻവലിക്കുക എന്നീ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ ഉന്നയിച്ച് കേരള കർഷക സംഘം താമരശേരി ഏരിയാ കമ്മിറ്റിയൂടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ കർഷകർ താമരശേരി പോസ്റ്റ് ഓഫീസ് മാർച്ചും ധർണ്ണയും നടത്തി.
കർഷക സംഘം ജില്ലാ കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം ടി കെ അരവിന്ദാക്ഷൻ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. പി.സി അബ്ദുൾ അസീസ് അധ്യക്ഷനായി. പി.സി വേലായുധൻ മാസ്റ്റർ, കെ.കെ. വിജയൻ, കെ.എസ്. മനോജ്, കെ.ജമീല എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു. എൻ.വി. രാജൻ സ്വാഗതവും കെ.പി.സുബീഷ് നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു.
Farmers in Thamarassery, led by the Kerala Karshaka Sangham, protested against the hike in fertilizer prices and the reduction in subsidies by the central government. The protest, including a march and sit-in at the post office, was inaugurated by TK Aravindakshan and attended by several local leaders.
