Omassery: പത്തു ദിവസം നീണ്ടു നിന്ന ആഘോഷാരവങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ ഓമശ്ശേരിയിൽ കൊടിയിറങ്ങി. Palliative care ധനശേഖരണാർത്ഥം ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച Omassery Fest ന്‌ നിറഞ്ഞ സദസ്സിലെ കലാ നിശയോടെ ഉജ്ജ്വല പരിസമാപ്തി. വ്യാപാരോൽസവം, കൊയ്ത്തുത്സവം, കാർഷിക പ്രദർശന-വിപണന മേള, പാലിയേറ്റീവ് കുടുംബ സംഗമം, അലോപ്പതി-ആയുർ വേദം-ഹോമിയോ ഏകദിന മെഗാ മെഡിക്കൽ ക്യാമ്പ്, കുടുംബശ്രീ കുടുംബോൽസവം, കാർഷിക-ആരോഗ്യ-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ-സാഹിത്യ-സെമിനാറുകൾ, മാനവ സൗഹൃദ സംഗമം, ലഹരിക്കെതിരെ യുവജാഗ്രത, വിവിധ വിനോദ പരിപാടികൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിച്ചുള്ള അമ്യൂസ്‌മെന്റ് പാർക്ക്, ദിനേന രാത്രി പ്രമുഖർ അണി നിരക്കുന്ന വ്യത്യസ്ത കലാ പരിപാടികൾ തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ്‌ Omassery Fest ന്റെ ഭാഗമായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്‌.
എം.കെ.രാഘവൻ MP, ഡോ:എം.കെ.മുനീർ MLA, ലിന്റോ ജോസഫ്‌ MLA, അഡ്വ:പി.ഗവാസ്‌, കെ.എം.അഷ്‌റഫ്‌ മാസ്റ്റർ, നാസർ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ്മുക്ക്‌, DYSP ചന്ദ്രൻ, സർക്കിൾ ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ കെ.പി.അഭിലാഷ്‌ തുടങ്ങി രാഷ്ട്രീയ-സാമൂഹ്യ-ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥ രംഗത്തുള്ള നിരവധി പ്രമുഖർ വിവിധ ദിവസങ്ങളിലെ പരിപാടികളിൽ അതിഥികളായി. പ്രശസ്ത കലാ താരങ്ങളായ ദേവ്‌ രാജ്‌ ദേവ്‌, കൊമ്പൻ കോട്‌ കോയ, കുഞ്ഞാപ്പു, അശ്വിൻ, കൊണ്ടോട്ടിക്കാരൻ ബാപ്പുട്ടി, മുരളി ചാലക്കുടി, അഷ്‌റഫ്‌ കൊടുവള്ളി, യാസർ ചളിക്കോട്‌, ശ്രീനിഷ വിനോദ്‌ തുടങ്ങിയവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ വ്യത്യസ്തങ്ങളായ പരിപാടികൾ ഫെസ്റ്റിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി അരങ്ങേറി.
സമാപന സംഗമം ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ പി.കെ.ഗംഗാധരൻ ഉൽഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. സംഘാടക സമിതി ജന.കൺവീനർ യൂനുസ്‌ അമ്പലക്കണ്ടി അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. കൺവീനർ പി.വി.സ്വാദിഖ്‌ സ്വാഗതം പറഞ്ഞു. ഫാത്വിമ അബു, കെ.കരുണാകരൻ മാസ്റ്റർ, സീനത്ത്‌ തട്ടാഞ്ചേരി, പി.അബ്ദുൽ നാസർ, സൈനുദ്ദീൻ കൊളത്തക്കര, കെ.കെ.അബ്ദുല്ലക്കുട്ടി, കെ.പി.അയമ്മദ്‌ കുട്ടി മാസ്റ്റർ, എം.എം.രാധാമണി ടീച്ചർ, ടി.ശ്രീനിവാസൻ, സൂപ്പർ അഹമ്മദ്‌ കുട്ടി ഹാജി, എം.ഷീജ ബാബു, സി.എ.ആയിഷ ടീച്ചർ, പി.എ.ഹുസൈൻ മാസ്റ്റർ, മൂസ നെടിയേടത്ത്‌, ബീന പത്മദാസ്‌, സി.കെ.അഷ്‌റഫ്‌ ഓമശ്ശേരി, അഷ്‌റഫ്‌ റൊയാഡ്‌, പി.വി.ഹുസൈൻ മാസ്റ്റർ എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു. കോ-ഓർഡിനേറ്റർ ആർ.എം.അനീസ്‌ നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു.
Omassery: The grand celebrations in Omassery came to a close after ten days of festivities. The Omassery Fest, organized by the Gram Panchayat for palliative care fundraising, concluded with a vibrant cultural night attended by a large audience. As part of the fest, various events were held, including a trade fair, harvest festival, agricultural exhibition and market, palliative care family gathering, a one-day mega medical camp featuring allopathy, Ayurveda, and homeopathy, Kudumbashree family festival, seminars on agriculture, health, education, and literature, a human solidarity meet, an anti-drug awareness campaign for youth, an amusement park with various entertainment programs, and cultural performances by renowned artists every night.
Several dignitaries, including MP M.K. Raghavan, MLAs Dr. M.K. Muneer and Linto Joseph, Advocate P. Gavas, K.M. Ashraf Master, Nasser Estate Mukku, DYSP Chandran, and Circle Inspector K.P. Abhilash, attended the events on different days. Popular artists such as Devraj Dev, Komban Kattkoya, Kunjappu, Ashwin, Kondottikkaran Bapputti, Murali Chalakkudi, Ashraf Koduvally, Yasar Chalikode, and Sreenish Vinod performed at the fest.
The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Gram Panchayat President P.K. Gangadharan, with organizing committee General Convener Yunus Ambalakkandy presiding. Convener P.V. Swadikh delivered the welcome address. Several prominent individuals, including Fathima Abu, K. Karunakaran Master, Zeenath Thattanchery, P. Abdul Nasar, Sainudheen Kolathakkara, K.K. Abdullakkutty, K.P. Ahamedkutty Master, M.M. Radhamani Teacher, T. Sreenivasan, Super Ahamedkutty Haji, M. Sheeja Babu, C.A. Ayesha Teacher, P.A. Husein Master, Moosa Nediyedath, Beena Padmadas, C.K. Ashraf Omassery, Ashraf Royad, and P.V. Husein Master, spoke at the event. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by coordinator R.M. Anees.
