Kakkadampoyil: Body of Student Found Near Kozhippara Waterfalls. A student who drowned in the stream near Kozhippara Waterfalls has been found. The deceased has been identified as Sandesh, a second-year degree student at Devagiri College, Kozhikode, and a native of Chevarambalam.
The incident occurred when the lifeguard had gone for a meal, during which Sandesh jumped into the water. Fireforce personnel from Nilambur reached the spot and carried out the rescue operation. Sandesh was part of a six-member group that had come for a leisure trip when the tragedy struck.
