Kochi: Kakkanad മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ GST Additional Commissioner ടേയും കുടുംബത്തിന്റേയും പോസ്റ്റുമോർട്ടം ഇന്ന് നടക്കും. ഝാര്‍ഖണ്ഡ് സ്വദേശികളായ മനീഷ് വിജയ്, സഹോദരി ശാലിനി വിജയ്, അമ്മ ശകുന്തള അഗർവാൾ എന്നിവരെയാണ് കസ്റ്റംസ് കോട്ടേഴ്സിനകത്തെ വീട്ടിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. മൃതദേഹത്തിന് സമീപത്തു നിന്നും ആത്മഹത്യാക്കുറിപ്പ് കണ്ടെത്തി. ഹിന്ദിയിലാണ് ആത്മഹത്യ കുറിപ്പ് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
വിദേശത്തുള്ള സഹോദരിയെ വിവരം അറിയിക്കണം എന്ന് മാത്രമാണ് കുറിപ്പിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. മരണകാരണം ഇപ്പോഴും വ്യക്തമല്ല. ശാലിനി വിജയ്‌യുടെ സർക്കാർ ജോലിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടായ ആരോപണങ്ങളും കേസുമാണ് കൂട്ട ആത്മഹത്യയിലേക്ക് നയിച്ചത് എന്നാണ് സൂചന. അമ്മയെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശേഷം മക്കൾ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതാകാമെന്നാണ് പൊലീസിന്റെ പ്രാഥമിക നിഗമനം.
മനീഷിന്റെയും സഹോദരിയുടെയും അമ്മയുടെയും മൃതദേഹത്തിന് 4 മുതൽ 5 ദിവസം വരെ പഴക്കമുണ്ട്. മൂവരുടെയും മൃതദേഹം പുഴുവരിച്ച നിലയിലായിരുന്നു കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നത്. മനീഷിന്റെയും സഹോദരി ശാലിനിയുടെയും മൃതദേഹം തൂങ്ങിയ നിലയിലാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നത്. അമ്മ ശകുന്തള അഗർവാളിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം കിടക്കയിലുമായിരുന്നു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷമാണ് സഹോദരി ശാലിനി ഝാര്‍ഖണ്ഡ് പബ്ലിക് സർവീസ് കമ്മീഷൻ എക്സാം ഒന്നാം റാങ്കോടെ പാസായത്. ഇവർ അവിടെ ജോലിയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചിരുന്നു. സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അയൽക്കാരുമായി ബന്ധം സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നില്ലെന്ന് പ്രദേശവാസികൾ പറയുന്നു.
Kochi: The postmortem of GST Additional Commissioner Manish Vijay and his family, who were found dead in Kakkanad, will be conducted today. The deceased, natives of Jharkhand, were identified as Manish Vijay, his sister Shalini Vijay, and their mother Shakuntala Agarwal. They were found dead inside their residence at the Customs Quarters.
A suicide note, written in Hindi, was recovered from the scene. The note only mentioned informing a relative abroad. The exact reason behind the deaths remains unclear. However, initial reports suggest that allegations and legal issues related to Shalini Vijay’s government job may have led to the tragedy.
Police suspect that the mother was killed before the siblings took their own lives. The bodies were four to five days old when discovered and showed signs of decomposition. Manish and Shalini were found hanging, while their mother’s body was on the bed, covered with a white cloth and decorated with flowers.
Shakuntala and Shalini had recently moved in with Manish. A 2011 batch IRS officer, Manish had relocated to Kochi only a short while ago.
Shalini had secured first rank in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission Exam last year and had started working there. The police have begun an investigation, and locals stated that the family rarely interacted with neighbors.
