Kalpetta: ആദിവാസി യുവാവ് ഗോകുലിനെ കൽപ്പറ്റ പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ സംഭവത്തിൽ നടപടി. കൽപ്പറ്റ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന രണ്ട് പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ സസ്പെൻഡ് ചെയ്തു. സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ ജി.ഡി ചാർജ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥ ദീപയേയും പാറാവു നിന്ന ശ്രീജിത്തിനെയും ആണ് സസ്പെൻഡ് ചെയ്തത്. കണ്ണൂർ റേഞ്ച് ഡിഐജിയാണ് രണ്ട് പൊലീസുകാർക്കെതിരെ നടപടിയെടുത്തത്.
സംഭവത്തിൽ ഉത്തരവാദികൾക്കെതിരെ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ ശുപാർശ ചെയ്ത് വയനാട് ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവി തപോഷ് ബസുമതാരി റിപ്പോർട്ട് നൽകിയിരുന്നു.
Kalpetta: Action has been taken in connection with the death of the Adivasi youth Gokul, who was found dead in Kalpetta police station. Two police officers who were on duty at the station have been suspended. Deepa, the officer in charge of the General Diary (GD), and Sreejith from Parappanpoyil have been suspended.
The suspension was ordered by the Kannur Range DIG. The Wayanad District Police Chief, Taposh Basumathari, had submitted a report recommending action against those responsible for the incident.
