Kasaragod: കാസർകോട് വിദ്യാനഗറിൽ എട്ട് വയസുകാരന് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. വിദ്യാനഗർ പാടിയിൽ ഉമ്മ ചക്ക മുറിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ കുട്ടി കത്തിയ്ക്ക് മുകളിലേക്ക് വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു. പാടി ബെള്ളൂറടുക്ക സ്വദേശി സുലേഖയുടെ മകൻ ഹുസൈൻ ഷഹബാസ് ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.
കളിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ കാൽ തെന്നിയാണ് കുട്ടി കത്തിയ്ക്ക് മുകളിലേക്ക് വീണത്. കൊടുവാള്‍ ഘടിപ്പിച്ചുവെച്ച പലകയിൽ വെച്ചാണ് ചക്ക മുറിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിലേക്കാണ് കുട്ടി വീണത്. ഇരട്ടക്കുട്ടികളിലൊരാളാണ് മരിച്ചത്. അപകടത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആഴത്തിൽ മുറിവേറ്റ ഷഹബാസിനെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. സംഭവത്തിൽ പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മരണത്തിൽ ദുരൂഹതയില്ലെന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നത്.
Kasaragod: Tragedy struck in Vidyanagar, Kasaragod, as an eight-year-old boy lost his life in a freak accident. The incident occurred while the child’s mother was cutting jackfruit at their home in Padi, Vidyanagar. The boy, Hussain Shahbaz, son of Sulekha from Padi Belluradukka, accidentally slipped and fell onto the knife.
The knife had been fixed on a wooden board for cutting the jackfruit, and the child fell directly onto it while playing nearby. Shahbaz, one of a pair of twins, sustained deep injuries in the fall. Though he was rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
Police have started an investigation and confirmed there is no suspicion of foul play in the incident.
