Kasaragod: ഡോക്ടറില്‍ നിന്ന് രണ്ട് കോടി 23 ലക്ഷം രൂപ തട്ടിയ കേസിലെ മുഖ്യപ്രതി പിടിയില്. രാജസ്ഥാന്‍ ജോധ്പൂര്‍ സ്വദേശി സുനില്‍ കുമാര്‍ ജെന്‍വര്‍ (24) ആണ് പിടിയിലായത്. ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ പാർട് ടൈം ജോലി വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്താണ് പ്രതി പണം തട്ടിയത്. ഇതോടെ കേസിൽ അറസ്റ്റിലായവരുടെ എണ്ണം നാലായി.
കാസര്‍കോട് സൈബർ ക്രൈം പൊലീസ് രാജസ്ഥാനിലെ ജോധ്പുരിൽ നിന്നാണ് പ്രതിയെ പിടിക്കൂടിയത്. ജില്ലാ ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് ഡിവൈഎസ്പി അന്വേഷണ നേതൃത്വം നൽകുന്ന അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തിൽ കാസര്‍കോട് സൈബർ ക്രൈം പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ ശ്രീദാസൻ എംവി, എഎസ് ഐ പ്രശാന്ത്, സീനിയർ സിവിൽ പൊലീസ് ഓഫീസർമാരായ നാരായണൻ, ദിലീഷ് എന്നിവരാണ് പ്രതിയെ തേടി രാജസ്ഥനിൽ എത്തി ശാസ്ത്രി നഗർ പൊലീസിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ പ്രതിയെ കേരളത്തിൽ എത്തിച്ചത്. പ്രതിയെ തേടി ബാങ്കിൽ നൽകിയ രാജസ്ഥാനിലെ വിലാസത്തിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ കുറ്റ കൃത്യത്തിന് ശേഷം താമസം മാറിയെന്ന് മനസിലായത്. വാടക വീട് അന്വേഷിച്ചെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ വീട് പൂട്ടിയിട്ട നിലയിലായിരുന്നു. അയൽവാസികളോടും മറ്റും അന്വേഷണം നടത്തിയതിൽ പ്രതിയുടെ അച്ഛന് സുഖമില്ലാതെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സയിലാണെന്ന് വിവരം ലഭിച്ചു. ആശുപത്രിയിൽ നിന്നാണ് പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്.
ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവി ശില്പ ഡി ഐപിഎസിന്റെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിൽ ജില്ലാ ക്രൈം ബ്രാഞ്ച് ഡിവൈഎസ്പി സുനിൽ കുമാർ (ഇൻചാർജ്) ന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ എസ് ഐ ശ്രീദാസ് എം വി, എ എസ് ഐ പ്രശാന്ത് കെ, SCPO നാരായണൻ എം, ദിലീഷ് എം എന്നിവരാണ് കേസ് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നത്. പിടികൂടിയ പ്രതിയെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തതിൽ കേസിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട കൂടുതൽ പ്രതികളെ പറ്റിയുള്ള സൂചന ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
Kasaragod: Main Accused Arrested in ₹2.23 Crore Fraud Case Against Doctor. The main accused in the case of defrauding a doctor of ₹2.23 crore has been arrested. The accused, 24-year-old Sunil Kumar Jenwar from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, was caught after allegedly scamming the victim by offering an online part-time job. With his arrest, the total number of arrests in the case has risen to four.
The Kasaragod Cyber Crime Police apprehended the accused from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The investigation team, led by the District Crime Branch DySP, included Kasaragod Cyber Crime Police Sub-Inspector Sreedasan M.V., ASI Prashanth, and senior civil police officers Narayanan and Dileesh. The team, with the assistance of Shastri Nagar Police, traced the accused to Rajasthan.
Initially, when the police reached the bank-registered address in Rajasthan, they found that the accused had moved after committing the crime. Upon further investigation, they discovered that he had rented a house, but it was locked. Neighbors revealed that his father was hospitalized due to illness. The police then located and arrested him from the hospital.
Under the supervision of Kasaragod District Police Chief Shilpa D IPS, the investigation is being carried out by District Crime Branch DySP Sunil Kumar (in-charge), SI Sreedasan M.V., ASI Prashanth K., SCPOs Narayanan M. and Dileesh M. The interrogation of the arrested accused has provided leads on other suspects involved in the case.
