Thamarassery: 228 കോടി രൂപ ചിലവഴിച്ച് നവീകരിച്ച കൊയിലാണ്ടി -താമരശ്ശേരി -എടവണ്ണ സംസ്ഥാന താഴ്ന്നു പോയ സംഭവം നിർമ്മാണത്തിലെ അപാകതയെന്ന് കണ്ടത്തൽ. ഇതു സംബന്ധിച്ച് KSTP, PWD, PWD Viglance Quality control വിഭാഗം തുടങ്ങിയവർ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ നിർമ്മാണത്തിലെ തകരാറ് കാരണമാണ് റോഡ് താഴ് പോയത് എന്നു കണ്ടെത്തിയതായാണ് സൂചന.
The recently renovated ₹228 crore Koyilandy–Thamarassery–Edavanna highway has sunk due to poor construction quality, as confirmed by inspections from multiple government departments. The contractor, Sridhania, may face contract cancellation for failing to address the issue despite repeated warnings. Frequent accidents due to the road condition have also led the Human Rights Commission to intervene. A high-level meeting is scheduled next week to decide on strict action.
