Kozhikode: സ്വകാര്യ ലോഡ്ജിൽ മുറിയെടുത്ത് മയക്കുമരുന്ന് വിൽപ്പന നടത്താനായി വന്ന ഒരാളെ ഗോവിന്ദപുരത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ലോഡ്ജിൽ നിന്നും പിടിയിൽ.
മലപ്പുറം സ്വദേശി എടവണ്ണപാറ ചോലയിൽ ഹൗസിൽ മുബഷീർ. കെ (33)നെ നാർക്കോട്ടിക്ക് സെൽ അധിക ചുമതലയുള്ള അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കമ്മീഷണർ ജി ബാലചന്ദ്രൻ്റെ നേത്യത്വ ത്തിലുള്ള ഡാൻസാഫും, സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ അരുൺ വി.ആറിൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് പോലീസും ചേർന്ന് പിടികൂടി.
കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിൽ ലഹരിക്കെതിരെ ശക്തമായ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റി പോലീസ് ഡെപ്പൂട്ടി കമ്മീഷണർ അരുൺ കെ പവിത്രൻ ഐ.പി എസിൻ്റെ നിർദേശത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ജില്ലയിൽ പരിശോധന ശക്തമാക്കിയതിൽ രഹസ്യ വിവരത്തിൽ ഗോവിന്ദപുരത്തെ ലോഡ്ജ് മുറിയിൽ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് 11.31 ഗ്രാം MDMA യുമായി പോലീസ് ഇയാളെ പിടികൂടുന്നത്.
ബംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്നും കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന MDMA കോഴിക്കോട്, മലപ്പുറം ഭാഗത്ത് എത്തിച്ച് ചില്ലറ വില്പന നടത്തുന്നവരിൽപ്പെട്ടയാളാണ് മുബഷീർ കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റിയിലെ യുവാക്കളെയും, വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെയും കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചാണ് ലഹരി വിൽപന നടത്തുന്നത്. ഡാൻസാഫ് സംഘത്തിൻ്റെ ഏറെ നാളത്തെ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ് ഇയാൾ പിടിയിലാവുന്നത്. പിടിയിലായ മുമ്പഷീർ സ്ഥിരമായി ലഹരി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നയാളാണ്. മുമ്പ് വാഴക്കാട് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ കഞ്ചാവ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചതിന് കേസുണ്ട്.
ഡൻസാഫ് ടീമിലെ എസ്.ഐ മാരായ മനോജ് ഇടയേടത്ത്, അബ്ദുറഹ്മാൻ കെ SCPo മാരായ സരുൺ കുമാർ പി.കെ, അതുൽ ഇ വി, ദിനീഷ് പി.കെ, അഭിജിത്ത് പി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ SI മാരായ സന്തോഷ് സി, പ്രവീൺ കുമാർ sk , Scpo മാരായ. ബൈജു. വി, വിജീഷ് പി, ദിവാകരൻ, രൻജു എന്നിവരാണ് അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
The arrested individual is Mubashir K (33), a native of Edavannappara, Chola House, in Malappuram district. He was apprehended by the Narcotic Cell under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner G. Balachandran and a team comprising the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) and Medical College Police led by Sub-Inspector Arun V. R.
As part of the Kozhikode City Police’s intensified anti-drug operations under the directive of Deputy Commissioner of Police Arun K Pavithran IPS, the arrest was made based on confidential information. During a search of the lodge room in Govindapuram, police recovered 11.31 grams of MDMA from Mubashir.
Mubashir is reportedly part of a network that transports MDMA from Bengaluru and distributes it in small quantities across Kozhikode and Malappuram. He primarily targeted city youths and students. The DANSAF team had been monitoring him for a long time before the arrest. Mubashir is a habitual drug user and has a previous case at Vazhakad Police Station for possession of cannabis.
The investigation team included DANSAF SIs Manoj Idayedath and Abdurahman K, SCPOs Sarun Kumar P.K., Athul E.V., Dinesh P.K., and Abhijith P; and Medical College Police Station SIs Santosh C, Praveen Kumar SK, SCPOs Baiju V, Vijeesh P, Divakaran, and Ranjhu.
