Kozhikode: കോടഞ്ചേരിയിലെ അധ്യാപികയുടെ ആത്മഹത്യയ്ക്ക് കാരണം അഞ്ചുവര്‍ഷമായി ശമ്പളം ലഭിക്കാത്തതിനാലെന്ന് പിതാവ് ബെന്നി. ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ അനുകൂല നടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ മകള്‍ ഈ കടുംകൈ ചെയ്യില്ലായിരുന്നുവെന്നും ബെന്നി പറഞ്ഞു. അലീനയുടെ പോസ്റ്റ്‌മോര്‍ട്ടം ഇന്ന് നടക്കും.
Kodancherry St. Joseph LP School അധ്യാപിക കട്ടിപ്പാറ സ്വദേശിനി അലീന ബെന്നിയുടെ മരണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഗുരുതര ആരോപണമാണ് പിതാവ് ബെന്നി ഉന്നയിക്കുന്നത്. നാലുവര്‍ഷം Kattippara Holy Family LP School ലും ഒരു വര്‍ഷം St. Joseph സ്‌കൂളിലും ജോലി ചെയ്തതിന് ഒരു രൂപ പോലും ശമ്പളം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നും അതിന്റെ മനോവിഷമത്തിലാണ് അലീന ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതെന്നും ബെന്നി.
എന്നാല്‍ മാനേജ്‌മെന്റിന് തെറ്റുപറ്റിയിട്ടില്ല എന്നും സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ അലംഭാവമാണ് ആത്മഹത്യയ്ക്ക് ഇടയാക്കിയതെന്നുമാണ് കാത്തലിക് ടീച്ചേഴ്‌സ് ഗില്‍ഡ് മലബാര്‍ മേഖലാ കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ വിശദീകരണം. അലീനയ്ക്ക് നല്‍കിയത് സ്ഥിരം നിയമനം ആണെന്നും വാര്‍ത്താക്കുറിപ്പില്‍ പറയുന്നു. വിശദീകരണം തള്ളിയ ബെന്നി, മാനേജ്‌മെന്റിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് തന്റെ പക്കല്‍ തെളിവുകളുണ്ടെന്നും പുറത്തുവിടുമെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. സംഭവത്തില്‍ Thamarassery Police അസ്വാഭാവിക മരണത്തിന് കേസെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. അലീനയുടെ മൃതദേഹം Kozhikode Medical College ല്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
വീട്ടിലെ മുറിയില്‍ തൂങ്ങി മരിച്ചനിലയിലാണ് അലീനയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. അലീന സ്‌കൂളില്‍ എത്താത്തതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് മരിച്ചനിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. സ്‌കൂളില്‍ പോയി തിരികെ വരാന്‍ പണമില്ലാതിരുന്ന അലീനയ്ക്ക് അധ്യാപകര്‍ 3000 രൂപ കൊടുത്തെന്ന് അലീനയുടെ പിതാവ് പറഞ്ഞു. കര്‍ഷക കുടുംബമായ തങ്ങള്‍ വളരെ കഷ്ടപ്പാടിലാണ് ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നത്. തന്നോട് ഒരിക്കലും പണമില്ലെന്ന് അലീന പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകള്‍ ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് സഹിച്ചു. വായ്പയെടുത്ത 13 ലക്ഷം രൂപ നല്‍കിയാണ് അലീന സ്‌കൂളില്‍ ജോലിയ്ക്ക് കയറിയത്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ Thamarassery Police അസ്വാഭാവിക മരണത്തിന് കേസെടുത്ത് അന്വേഷണം നടത്തിവരികയാണ്.
Kozhikode: The father of Kodanchery St. Joseph LP School teacher, Aleena Benny, has made serious allegations regarding her tragic suicide. He stated that Aleena took her own life due to severe distress over not receiving her salary for five years. Benny claims that if the authorities had taken timely action, this tragedy could have been avoided. Aleena’s postmortem is scheduled for today.
Aleena, a native of Kattippara, worked for four years at Kattippara Holy Family LP School and one year at St. Joseph School but was never paid a single rupee, her father alleged.
Meanwhile, the Catholic Teachers’ Guild (Malabar Region) defended the school management, stating that the government’s negligence, not the management, was responsible for her suicide. They also claimed that Aleena had received a permanent appointment. Rejecting this explanation, Benny asserted that he had solid evidence proving management’s failure and would reveal it soon. A case of unnatural death has been registered by Thamarassery Police, and Aleena’s body is currently kept at Kozhikode Medical College.
Aleena was found hanging in her room after failing to report to school. Her father revealed that she did not even have money to travel to school, and fellow teachers had given her ₹3,000 for expenses. Coming from a struggling farming family, Benny stated that Aleena never disclosed her financial struggles but endured them alone. She had taken a loan of ₹13 lakh to secure her teaching job. Thamarassery Police are continuing the investigation.
