Wayanad: ആലത്തൂർ എസ്റ്റേറ്റിലെ തൊഴിലാളി മണ്ണുണ്ടി ഉന്നതിയിലെ വെള്ളു (63)ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ 11 മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു എസ്റ്റേറ്റിൽ തേനീച്ച ആക്രമണം ഉണ്ടായത്. ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നതിനിടെ തേനീച്ചകൂട് ഇളകി വരികയായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് വിവരം. മൃതദേഹം മാനന്തവാടി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
Wayanad: A worker at the Alathur estate, Vellu (63) from Mannundi Unnathi, died following a bee attack. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. today while he was working in the estate. Reports say the bee attack happened after a hive was disturbed. The body was shifted to Mananthavady Medical College.
Meanwhile, reports of bee attacks are emerging from various parts of the state. Recently, a man from Kozhikode died after a bee sting incident in Gudalur, Nilgiris. The deceased was Muhammad Sabir, son of Ibrahim from Ayanchery, Velliyad, Kozhikode. The incident took place at the tourist spot of Suchimala.
Sabir and others had parked their car by the roadside and entered a forested area when the bee attack occurred. Sabir was stung and collapsed. The Forest Department, police, and fire services arrived and rescued the others, but Sabir had already succumbed to the stings.
