Perambra: പേരാമ്പ്രയിൽ ഭർതൃവീട്ടിൽ യുവതിക്ക് ക്രൂരമായ മർദ്ദനം. പരിക്കേറ്റ യുവതി ആശുപത്രിയിൽ. ഭർത്താവും മാതാപിതാക്കളും അടക്കം മൂന്നുപേരെ പ്രതിചേർത്ത് പൊലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു. സ്ത്രീധനത്തെ ചൊല്ലി ഭർതൃവീട്ടിൽ യുവതിയെ മാസങ്ങളോളം മാനസികമായും ശാരീരികമായും പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതായാണ് പരാതി. തൃശൂർ സ്വദേശി ചിങ്ങരത്ത് വീട്ടിൽ സരയു (22) നാണ് ഭർത്താവിൽ നിന്നും വീട്ടുകാരിൽ നിന്നും പീഡനം നേരിട്ടതായാണ് പരാതി.
വിവാഹത്തിനുശേഷം സാമ്പത്തിക ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകളുടെ പേരിൽ ഭർതൃവീട്ടുകാർ പല തവണകളിലായി തൻ്റെ വീട്ടുകാരിൽ നിന്നും സ്വർണം വാങ്ങിയതായും സരയു പരാതിയിൽ പറയുന്നു. വാങ്ങിയ സ്വർണം തിരിച്ചു ചോദിച്ച യുവതിയ്ക്ക് ഭർത്താവിൽ നിന്നും വീട്ടുകാരിൽ നിന്നും അവഗണനകളും അക്രമങ്ങളും നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നതായും സരയു പറഞ്ഞു. യുവതിയുടെ മാസങ്ങൾ മാത്രം പ്രായമുള്ള കുഞ്ഞിനെ ഭർതൃ മാതാവ് ശപിക്കുകയും കൊല്ലുമെന്ന് ഭീക്ഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തതായും, ഭർത്താവ് സരുൺ യുവതിയെ മുറിയിലിട്ട് പലപ്രവിശ്യം അടിക്കുകയും ചവിട്ടുകയും, കഴുത്തിൽ പിടിച്ചു അമർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തതായും യുവതി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി.
Perambra: A young woman was brutally assaulted at her husband’s house in Perambra. She sustained injuries and has been admitted to the hospital. Police have registered a case against three people including her husband and his parents. The complaint states that the woman was subjected to both physical and mental abuse for months over dowry-related issues.
The victim, Sarayu (22) from Chingarat House, Thrissur, alleged that after the wedding, her in-laws frequently pressured her family for gold, citing financial difficulties. When she asked for the gold back, she was reportedly subjected to neglect and violence by her husband and in-laws.
Sarayu also stated that her mother-in-law cursed her infant child, who is only a few months old, and even threatened to kill the baby. According to the victim, her husband Sarun locked her in a room on multiple occasions, beat her, kicked her, and even tried to strangle her.
She was taken to the Kallode Government Hospital with injuries on her face, eyes, and other parts of the body. Based on her complaint, Perambra police have registered a case against her husband Sarun Sathyam of Vadakkayil Meethal, her mother-in-law Usha, and her father-in-law Sathyam, all residents of Moorikuthi, Perambra.
