Thamarassery: KSRTC താമരശ്ശേരി ഡിപ്പോ ഹരിത പുര സ്കാര നിറവിൽ. സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിന്റെ മാലിന്യമുക്ത നവ കേരള ജനകീയ ക്യാംപെയ്ൻ പദ്ധതിയുടെ വിജയത്തോടെയാണ് ഹരിത കേരളം മിഷൻ എ ഗ്രേഡോടെ താമരശ്ശേരി കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ഡിപ്പോയെ ഹരിത സ്‌ഥാപനമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. ഹരിത പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടം പാലിച്ച് ശുചിത്വ സംഭരണ-മാലിന്യ സംസ്കരണം, ജല സുരക്ഷ, ഊർജ സംരക്ഷണം, ജൈവ വൈവിധ്യം എന്നീ മേഖലയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് നടത്തിയ പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെയാണ് ഈ അവാർഡ് നേടിയത്.
ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് ബോധവൽക്കരണം, സൗന്ദര്യ വൽക്കരണം, ജൈവ, അജൈവ മാലിന്യ സംസ്കരണം എന്നിവയിലുടെയാണ് ഈ നേട്ടം കൈ വരിച്ചതന്ന് എടിഒ കെ.സുമേഷ് പറഞ്ഞു.
Thamarassery: KSRTC Thamarassery Depot has been honored with the Green Award. The recognition comes as part of the state government’s “Waste-Free Nava Kerala People’s Campaign” project. Haritha Keralam Mission declared the Thamarassery KSRTC depot as a Green Establishment with an A Grade.
The award was granted for initiatives in maintaining cleanliness, waste management, water security, energy conservation, and biodiversity.
According to ATO K. Sumesan, this achievement was made possible through staff awareness programs, beautification efforts, and the effective management of organic and inorganic waste.
