Thamarassery: അമിതവേഗത്തിലെത്തിയ കാറിടിച്ച് മധ്യവയസ്കൻ മരിച്ചു. ഒഞ്ചിയം സ്വദേശിയായ രാജേഷ് ബാബു (50) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. താമരശ്ശേരി അമ്പലമുക്കിൽ വെച്ചാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്.
അപകടത്തിന് ശേഷം നിർത്താതെ പോയ കാർ നാട്ടുകാർ പിന്തുടർന്ന് പിടികൂടി. അരീക്കോട് സ്വദേശികളാണ് കാറിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. കാർ ഡ്രൈവർ അരീക്കോട് സ്വദേശി അൻവറിനെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. രാജേഷിൻ്റെ മൃതദേഹം താമരശ്ശേരി താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
A speeding car hit and killed 50-year-old Rajesh Babu from Onchiyam at Ambalamukku, Thamarassery. The driver, Anvar from Areekode, was caught by locals and taken into police custody. The victim’s body was moved to the local hospital.
