Administrative approval has been granted for the ₹3 crore renovation of the Thamarassery–Pallipuram road, which is expected to ease traffic congestion and function as a bypass route. The 2-kilometer stretch will be upgraded to BM-BC standards with provisions for proper drainage. In addition to this, several other development projects are progressing in the region. The ₹2 crore hostel project at CH Mohammed Koya Memorial Government College in Koduvally is in its final planning stage. The ₹5 crore Siraj Bypass Road has received alignment approval, and the land survey is nearing completion. Meanwhile, the ₹3.5 crore Kappad–Thusharagiri foothill roadwork in Narikkuni is underway, and the ₹2 crore Narikkuni Bypass project is currently under government consideration.
