Thamarassery: ഷഹബാസ് കൊലപാതക കേസിൽ കസ്റ്റഡിയിൽ കഴിയുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ തള്ളി. 6 പേരുടെ ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷയാണ് കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലാ സെഷൻസ് കോടതി തള്ളിയത്. 38 ദിവസമായി വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ ജയിലിലാണ്. വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ ഷഹബാസിന്റ തലയോട്ടി തകര്‍ന്നിരുന്നു. വലതു ചെവിയുടെ മുകളിലാണ് മുറിവ്. കട്ടിയേറിയ ആയുധം ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് മര്‍ദിച്ചത്. വലതു ചെവിയുടെ മുകളിലാണ് പൊട്ടലുള്ളതെന്നും ആയിരുന്നു പോസ്റ്റുമോര്‍ട്ടത്തിലെ കണ്ടെത്തല്‍.
തലയ്ക്ക് പിന്നിലേറ്റ അതി ശക്തമായ അടിയാണ് മരണത്തിന് കാരണമായതെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക നിഗമനം. കട്ടിയേറിയ ആയുധം ഉപയോഗിച്ചായിരുന്നു മര്‍ദനമെന്നാണ് പോസ്‌മോര്‍ട്ടം റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നത്. ആന്തരിക രക്തസ്രാവമുണ്ടായി തലച്ചോറിലടക്കം വ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു.
സ്വകാര്യ ട്യൂഷന്‍ സെന്ററില്‍ നടന്ന ഫെയര്‍വെല്‍ പരിപാടിയെ ചൊല്ലിയാണ് സംഘര്‍ഷം ഉണ്ടായത്. തലക്കേറ്റ ഗുരുതരമായ ആഘാതമാണ് മരണകാരണമെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക നിഗമനം. സ്വകാര്യ ട്യൂഷന്‍ സെന്ററിലെ ഫെയര്‍വെല്ലിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് നടന്ന പരിപാടിയെ തുടര്‍ന്നുണ്ടായ തര്‍ക്കമാണ് സംഘര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ കലാശിച്ചത്.
Thamarassery: The bail plea of students in custody in connection with the Shahabas murder case has been rejected. The Kozhikode District Sessions Court dismissed the bail applications of six individuals. The students have been in jail for the past 38 days. Shahabas had suffered a skull fracture as a result of the students’ assault. The injury was located above his right ear. It was confirmed in the postmortem that a heavy weapon was used in the attack, causing a crack in that region.
Preliminary conclusions suggest that a strong blow to the back of the head led to the death. The postmortem report also indicated that the attack was carried out using a heavy weapon and caused internal bleeding, which had spread to the brain.
The incident was triggered by a farewell event at a private tuition center. The altercation, which followed disagreements related to the event, ultimately escalated into a violent confrontation.
