ഏപ്രിൽ 4 ന് ചേർന്ന കേന്ദ്ര പരിസ്ഥിതി കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ മിനുട്‌സ് പ്രകാരമാണ് അനുമതി നിഷേധിച്ചു എന്ന രീതിയിൽ വാർത്ത നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. മിനിട്സ് പ്രകാരം കൂടുതൽ വിവര ശേഖരണത്തിന് മാറ്റി വെക്കുകയാണ് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുള്ളത്. ഇത് സ്വാഭാവിക നടപടിക്രമമാണ്, വാർത്തയിൽ തന്നെ ഇത് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നുമുണ്ട്. സ്റ്റേറ്റ് പരിസ്ഥിതി കമ്മിറ്റിയും നേരത്തെ ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള നടപടികൾക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് അന്തിമ അനുമതി നൽകിയത്. അധിക വിവരങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമാവുന്ന മുറയ്ക്ക് കേന്ദ്ര പരിസ്ഥിതി കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെയും അനുമതി ലഭ്യമാവും. വ്യാജ വാർത്തകളിൽ വഞ്ചിതരാവരുതന്ന് MLA പറഞ്ഞു.
Thiruvambady: The news that the Central Government has denied approval for the Anakkampoil–Meppadi tunnel road, a dream project of Kerala, is completely baseless, said Thiruvambady MLA Linto Joseph.
He clarified that the news was based on the minutes of the Central Environmental Committee meeting held on April 4, which only indicated a postponement for further data collection — a routine procedural step. The report itself mentions this. He added that even the State Environmental Committee had taken similar steps before giving final approval. Once the required information is submitted, central environmental clearance will also be granted. The MLA urged people not to be misled by fake news.
