Thiruvambady: വന്യജീവി ആക്രമണത്തിനെതിരെ കേരള കർഷകസംഘം നടത്തുന്ന കർഷക മുന്നേറ്റ ജാഥയ്ക്ക് നാളെ രാവിലെ 9.30ന് തിരുവമ്പാടിയിൽ സ്വീകരണം നൽകും. ഇ പി ജയരാജൻ, വത്സൻ പനോളി എന്നിവരാണ് കർഷക മുന്നേറ്റ ജാഥ കാസർകോട് മുതൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം വരെ നയിക്കുന്നത്.
വനം വന്യജീവി നിയമം ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്യുക, ജനവാസ മേഖലയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന അക്രമകാരികളായ വന്യജീവികളെ കൊല്ലാൻ അനുവദിക്കുക, നാട്ടിലിറങ്ങുന്ന പന്നിയെ വെടി വെച്ച് കൊന്നാൽ അതിൻ്റെ മാംസം ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉപയുക്തമാക്കുക, ജീവഹാനി സംഭവിച്ചാൽ നഷ്ടപരിഹാരത്തുക വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുക, കൃഷി നശിച്ചാൽ ലഭ്യമാകുന്ന നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം ഉയർത്തുക എന്നീ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ ഉന്നയിച്ചു കൊണ്ടാണ് ജാഥ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
Thiruvambady: A reception will be held in Thiruvambady tomorrow at 9:30 AM for the “Karshaka Munnetta Jatha” (Farmers’ Advancement Rally) organized by the Kerala Karshaka Sangham in protest against wild animal attacks. The rally, which travels from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram, is being led by E.P. Jayarajan and Valsan Panoli.
The rally raises key demands including: amending the Forest and Wildlife Act, allowing the culling of violent wild animals that enter human settlements, permitting the public to use the meat of wild boars shot in residential areas, increasing compensation in cases of human casualties, and enhancing relief amounts for crop damage.
