ഈ പ്രദേശത്ത് ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ക്ഷേത്രവും ഐ ടി ഐ കോളോജും സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു ഭരണ സ്വാധീനം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ജനവാസ മേഖലയിൽ അനധികൃതമായി കരിങ്കൽ ക്വാറി തുടങ്ങാൻ ശ്രമമുണ്ടായാൽ കർഷക കോൺഗ്രസിൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പ്രദേശവാസികളെയും കർഷകരെയും അണിനിരത്തി ശക്തമായ സമരത്തിന് നേതൃത്വം കൊടുക്കുമെന്ന് യോഗം സുചന നല്കി.

Thiruvambady: Karshaka Congress has declared that they will not allow the operation of a black stone quarry at Thumbakkottu Hill, as it would seriously affect the lives of local residents and farmers.
The area in question is home to the Sreekrishna Temple and an ITI College. The meeting warned that if there is an attempt to start an unauthorized quarry in this residential zone using political influence, the Karshaka Congress will lead a strong protest by rallying local residents and farmers.
The meeting was inaugurated by Karshaka Congress State General Secretary Bose Jacob. Mandalam President Sajo Padinjarekuruttu presided over the function. Constituency President Shiju Chempanani, District General Secretaries Jithin Pallatt, Gopinathan Muthedath, and Jubin Mannu Kushumbil, along with Constituency Secretaries Babichan Kochu Vellikakath and Sony Mandapathil, also spoke.
