Kakkayam: ഉരക്കുഴി ഭാഗത്ത് ശങ്കരപുഴ തടാകത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങി മുങ്ങി പോയ 3 വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനികളെ വനം സംരക്ഷണ ജീവനക്കാരും, ഗാർഡുമാരും രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി.

ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയോടു കൂടി തിക്കോടി പാലൂരിൽ നിന്ന് വന്ന സഹോദര കുടുംബത്തിലെ ജേഷ്ഠാനുജൻമായ ആമ്പിച്ചികാട്ടിൽ ചിന്നപുരം പാലൂർ ഷൗക്കത്ത്, അഷ്റഫ്, ഹാരിസ് എന്നവരുടെ മക്കളായ ഫർഹാന ഷൗക്കത്ത് (26) മെഹന അഷ്റഫ് (13), ഖദീജ ഹാരിസ് (13) എന്നിവരാണ് അപകടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടത്.

സംഭവസ്ഥത്ത് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികളും, വനം സംരക്ഷണ സമിതി ജീവനക്കാരും, ഫോറസ്റ്റ് ഗാർഡുമാരും ചേർന്ന് മൂവരെയും രക്ഷപെടുത്തി. പ്രഥമ ശുശ്രൂഷകൾക്കായി പേരാമ്പ്ര താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.

Kakkayam: Three girl students who entered the Shankarapuzha dam reservoir at Urakkuzhi and began drowning were rescued by forest protection staff and guards.

The incident occurred around noon today, involving daughters of siblings from a joint family who had come from Paloor in Thikkodi. The girls—Farhana Shoukath (26), Mehna Ashraf (13), and Khadeeja Haris (13)—are the daughters of Shoukath, Ashraf, and Haris from Ambichikattu Chinnapuram, Paloor.

Tourists present at the scene, along with members of the forest protection committee and forest guards, joined efforts to rescue the three. They were admitted to Perambra Taluk Hospital for first aid.
