Koyilandy: In connection with the Kollam Pisharikavu Temple Kaliatta Festival, traffic regulations will be implemented on April 5 and 6 along the national highway. On April 5, the Valiya Vilakku day, large vehicles coming from the Kozhikode side must take the Pavangad – Atholi – Ulliyeri – Perambra route to enter Payyoli, while smaller vehicles should use the Chengottukavu Bypass to reach Moodadi Highway. Similarly, large vehicles coming from the Vadakara side will be redirected through the Payyoli – Perambra – Ulliyeri – Atholi – Pavangad route, whereas smaller vehicles should enter the bypass from Moodadi and proceed to Chengottukavu. Additionally, buses traveling from Vadakara to Koyilandy will have to stop at Kollamchira and return, while buses from Koyilandy must stop at Kollam Petrol Pump before turning back.
