Kunnamangalam: ട്രാൻസ്ജെൻഡറുടെ സ്കൂട്ടർ മോഷ്ടിച്ച കേസിൽ നാല് യുവാക്കൾ പിടിയിൽ. കോഴിക്കോടാണ് സംഭവം. കുന്ദമംഗലം നൊച്ചിപ്പൊയിൽ സ്വദേശി റബീൻ (23), കൊടുവള്ളി നിസാമുദ്ദീൻ (27), പതിമംഗലം അബ്ദുൾ ജബ്ബാർ (23), മുട്ടാഞ്ചേരി റാഫി (26) എന്നിവരാണ് കോഴിക്കോട് കുന്ദമംഗലം പൊലീസിൻ്റെ പിടിയിലായത്. ഏപ്രിൽ 20 ന് പുലർച്ചെയാണ് സംഭവം. പ്രതികളിലൊരാളായ ജബ്ബാർ ട്രാൻസ്ജെൻഡറോടൊപ്പം സ്കൂട്ടറിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു. കുന്ദമംഗലം സിന്ധു തിയറ്ററിനടുത്ത് സ്കൂട്ടർ നിർത്തിയ ശേഷം ട്രാൻസ്ജെൻഡറിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നും പ്രതി താക്കോൽ പിടിച്ചു വാങ്ങി. ഇവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രതിയുടെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾക്ക് താക്കോൽ കൈമാറുകയും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് സ്‌കൂട്ടറുമായി കടന്നുകളയാനുള്ള പ്രതികളുടെ ശ്രമം ചെറുക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ട്രാൻസ്ജെൻഡറെ പ്രതികളിലൊരാൾ മർദ്ദിച്ചു.
Kunnamangalam: Four youths have been arrested in Kozhikode in connection with the theft of a scooter belonging to a transgender person. The accused are Rabin (23) from Nochipoyil, Kunnamangalam; Nizammuddin (27) from Koduvally; Abdul Jabbar (23) from Pathimangalam; and Rafi (26) from Muttanchery. They were taken into custody by the Kunnamangalam police.
The incident took place early morning on April 20. One of the accused, Jabbar, was traveling on a scooter with the transgender individual. After stopping near the Sindhu Theatre in Kunnamangalam, Jabbar allegedly took the scooter key from the transgender person’s hand and handed it over to his friends who were nearby. As the group attempted to flee with the scooter, a scuffle broke out, during which one of the accused assaulted the transgender person.
