Kottayam: Kottayam കടുത്തുരത്തിയിൽ Online trading തട്ടിപ്പിലൂടെ വൈദികന്റെ 15 കോടി തട്ടിയെടുത്ത കേസിൽ രണ്ടു പേർ പിടിയിൽ. Thamarassery സ്വദേശി മുഹമ്മദ് മിനാജ്, ഷംനാദ് എന്നിവരാണ് പിടിയിലായത്. കോട്ടയം കടുത്തുരുത്തി പൊലീസാണ് പ്രതികളെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. ഇരുവരും ഉത്തരേന്ത്യൻ തട്ടിപ്പ് സംഘത്തിലെ കണ്ണികളാണെന്ന് പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. പ്രതികൾ ATM വഴി 1.40 ലക്ഷം രൂപ പിൻവലിച്ചതായി കണ്ടെത്തിയതിനെ തുടർന്നാണ് നടപടി. ഇരുവരെയും വിശദമായി ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാനൊരുങ്ങുകയാണെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. കാസർഗോഡ് സ്വദേശിയായ ഫാദർ ടിനേഷ് കുര്യനാണ് തട്ടിപ്പിനിരയായത്.
Kottayam: Two individuals have been arrested in connection with an online trading scam in Kaduthuruthy, Kottayam, where a priest was defrauded of ₹15 crore. The arrested individuals are Muhammad Minaj and Shamnad, both natives of Thamarassery. The Kaduthuruthy Police made the arrests.
According to the police, both suspects are key links in a North Indian fraud network. The arrest was made after investigators found that the accused had withdrawn ₹1.40 lakh via ATM. Police have stated that they are preparing for a detailed interrogation of the suspects.
The victim of the fraud was Father Tinesh Kurian, a resident of Kasaragod.
