Kundamangalam: കുന്ദമംഗലത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ലോഡ്ജ് മുറിയിൽ നിന്നും ന്യൂജെൻ മയക്കുമരുന്നായ MDMA യുമായി രണ്ട് യുവാക്കൾ പിടിയിൽ. പാലക്കോട്ട് വയൽ ഐ.എം.ജി താഴം അതുൽ പി.പി, മുണ്ടിക്കൽ താഴം സ്വദേശി ഷാഹുൽ ഹമീദ് പി.കെ എന്നിവരെയാണ് കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റി ഡാൻസാഫ് സ്കോഡും കുന്ദമംഗലം പൊലീസും ചേർന്ന് പിടികൂടിയത്. കുന്ദമംഗലം ടൗണിലെ KGM കോംപ്ലക്സിലെ ആറാം നമ്പർ മുറിയിൽ നിന്നാണ് പ്രതികൾ പിടിയിലായത്.
രഹസ്യ വിവരത്തിന്‍റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് യുവാക്കൾ കുടുങ്ങിയത്. യുവാക്കൾ ലോഡ്ജിൽ മുറിയെടുത്ത് കോളേജ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും, ടർഫ്, മാളുകൾ എന്നിവ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് മയക്കുമരുന്ന് ചില്ലറ വില്പന നടത്തുന്നു എന്ന് ഡാൻസാഫ് സംഘത്തിന് രഹസ്യ വിവരം ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇവരിൽ നിന്നും 28 ഗ്രാമോളം MDMA പിടിച്ചെടുത്തതായി പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.
ബെംഗ്ലൂരിൽ നിന്നും MDMA എത്തിച്ച് ചില്ലറ വില്പന നടത്തുന്നവരിൽ പ്രധാനികളാണ് ഇരുവരും. പല തവണയായി ഡാൻസാഫ് സംഘത്തിനെ വെട്ടിച്ചു കടന്നു കളഞ്ഞ പ്രതികളെ, ഇത്തവണ വളരെ തന്ത്ര പരമായാണ് പൊലീസ് വലയിലാക്കിയത്. പിടിച്ചെടുത്ത മയക്കുമരുന്ന് ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് എത്തിച്ചതെന്നും, യുവാക്കൾ ലഹരിവിൽപ്പന സംഘത്തിലെ സ്ഥിരം കണ്ണികളാണെന്നും പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.
Kundamangalam: Two Youths Arrested with MDMA from a Private Lodge Room. Two youths were arrested with the new-generation drug MDMA from a private lodge room in Kundamangalam. The accused, Athul P.P from Palakkot Vayal IMG Thazham and Shahul Hameed P.K from Mundikkal Thazham, were apprehended in a joint operation by the Kozhikode City Dansaf Squad and the Kundamangalam police. The arrests were made from Room No. 6 of the KGM Complex in Kundamangalam town.
The youths were caught during a raid conducted based on secret information. The Dansaf team had received intelligence that the accused had rented a lodge room and were engaged in selling drugs in small quantities, targeting college students and locations such as turfs and malls. According to the police, approximately 28 grams of MDMA were seized from them.
Both accused were key figures in a network smuggling MDMA from Bengaluru and selling it in smaller quantities. The police revealed that the duo had previously managed to evade arrest multiple times. However, this time, they were captured through a well-planned operation. The authorities confirmed that the seized drugs had been sourced from Bengaluru and that the accused were regular members of a drug distribution network.
