Ulliyeri: A local BJP leader was arrested for illegally storing domestic and commercial gas cylinders. Jayan K. Jose, the Ulliyeri Mandalam General Secretary of the BJP, was taken into custody. Authorities from the Supplies Department seized 52 gas cylinders from his rented house. His method involved refilling cylinders himself and distributing them for commercial purposes.
