Thamarassery: താമരശ്ശേരി ചുരം എട്ടാം വളവിനും, ഒൻപതാം വളവിനും ഇടയിൽ വെച്ച് രണ്ടു യുവാക്കൾ കൊക്കയിലേക്ക് വീണത്. കോഴിക്കോട് യൂനിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ സപ്ലിമെന്ററി പരീക്ഷ എഴുതി കാറിൽ വരികയായിരുന്ന വയനാട് കമ്പളക്കാട് സ്വദേശികളായ 4 അംഗ സംഘത്തിലെ ശരത്ത്-(34), നിതിന് എന്നിവരാണ് അപകടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടത്.
Thamarassery: Two young men fell into a gorge between the 8th and 9th hairpin bends of Thamarassery Churam. The victims, Sharath (34) and Nithin, are residents of Kambalakkad, Wayanad. They were part of a four-member group returning by car after attending a supplementary exam at Calicut University.
The incident occurred around 8:35 PM. While stopping by the roadside to urinate, Nithin accidentally slipped and fell down the slope. Sharath fell while trying to rescue him. Rescue operations were carried out by their companions, Vythiri CH ambulance driver Nani, a few Vythiri locals, and other travelers passing by.
