Kaniyambetta: കണിയാമ്പറ്റ ചീക്കല്ലൂരിലെ സ്വകാര്യ റിസോര്‍ട്ടിലെ സ്വിമിംഗ് പൂളില്‍ അഞ്ച് വയസുകാരന്‍ മുങ്ങിമരിച്ചു. തെലങ്കാന ജോഗിപെട്ട് ചിറ്റ്കുള്‍ സ്വദേശിയായ ദിലീപ് റെഡ്ഡിയുടെ മകന്‍ നിവിന്‍ റെഡ്ഡിയണ് മരിച്ചത്. മിസ്റ്റി സ്ലോപ് എന്ന റിസോര്‍ട്ടിലെ ചെറിയ പൂളില്‍ വെച്ചായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. നിവിന്റെയും ഇരട്ട സഹോദരിയുടേയും ജന്മദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കാനായി കുടുംബസമേതം എത്തിയതായിരുന്നു ഇവര്‍. ഇന്ന് ഒമ്പതരയോടെ മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ പൂളിന് സമീപം ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ കുട്ടി ആരുമറിയാതെ പൂളിനടുത്തേക്ക് പോകുകയും അബദ്ധത്തില്‍ പൂളില്‍ അകപ്പെടുകയുമായിരുന്നെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമികമായി ലഭിക്കുന്ന വിവരം. കുട്ടിയെ കണ്ടയുടന്‍ പുറത്തെടുത്ത് മാനന്തവാടി മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരണം സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
Kaniyambetta: A five-year-old boy drowned in the swimming pool of a private resort in Cheekalloor, Kaniyambetta. The deceased has been identified as Nivin Reddy, son of Dileep Reddy from Chitkul, Jogipet, Telangana.
The incident took place in a small pool at the Misty Slope resort. The family had arrived at the resort to celebrate the birthday of Nivin and his twin sister. According to preliminary reports, the child wandered towards the pool unnoticed while others were having food nearby around 9:30 a.m. and accidentally fell into the water.
He was immediately pulled out and rushed to Mananthavady Medical College, but unfortunately, he was declared dead on arrival.
