Kattipara: As part of raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and spreading the message of protecting society from the grip of narcotics, an anti-drug awareness gathering was organized at Venakkavu under the leadership of the Kattipara Grama Panchayat 5th Ward Janakeeya Anti-Drug Committee. The event was inaugurated by Grama Panchayat President Premji James, with Ward Member Anita Ravindran presiding over the function. The keynote address was delivered by Thamarassery DYSP A.P. Chandran. Other notable speakers at the event included Standing Committee Chairman T.I. Ashraf, Puthuppadi St. Paul’s Manager Very Rev. Fin Haas Ramban, Pulode Mahal Khateeb Mubarak Al Hasani Vazhikkadavu, AEI K. Tisham Sudheen, and former members P.C. Thomas, M.K. Poonnuse Master, V.P. Indira Teacher, V.P. Satheeshan, V.K. Moidu Haji, V.M. Biju, K.M. Navas, Vanaja, P.U. Velayudhan, and K.K. Rajendran. A PO Grade awareness class was conducted by K. Prasad. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Janakeeya Samithi activist and PO Grade official Shaju C.G.
