Thiruvambadi: A two-day training program on farm tourism opportunities and legal aspects was conducted at Green Villa Farm, Anakampoyil, Thiruvambadi as part of the innovative farm tourism project led by the Kozhikode District Panchayat. The initiative was jointly implemented by Koduvalli Block Panchayat and the Gram Panchayats of Thiruvambadi, Koodaranji, Puthupady, Omassery, and Kodencherry, in collaboration with the Kerala Agriculture Department and the Responsible Tourism Mission.
The training program was inaugurated by Jameela V.P., Chairperson of the Kozhikode District Panchayat Development Standing Committee. Abdurahiman K.A., Vice President of Thiruvambadi Gram Panchayat, presided over the event. Dr. Priya Mohan, Assistant Director of Agriculture, Koduvalli, provided a detailed explanation of the project.
Other dignitaries present included Lissy Abraham (Chairperson, Development Standing Committee, Thiruvambadi Gram Panchayat) and Manju Shibin (Gram Panchayat Member), who extended their best wishes. Muhammad Fazil (Thiruvambadi Agriculture Officer) welcomed the gathering, while Ramya Rajan (Kodencherry Agriculture Officer) delivered the vote of thanks.
