Kollam: കുണ്ടറയിൽ റെയിൽവേ പാളത്തിന് കുറുകെ ടെലിഫോൺ പോസ്റ്റ് കണ്ടെത്തി. പുനലൂർ റെയിൽവേ പോലീസ് സംഭവത്തിൽ അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു. ട്രെയിൻ അട്ടിമറി ശ്രമമാണോ നടന്നതെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചാണ് അന്വേഷണം.
ശനിയാഴ്‌ച പുലർച്ചെ ഒന്നര മണിയോടെയാണ് ഇത്തരത്തിൽ പോസ്റ്റ് റെയിൽപാളത്തിൽ ആദ്യം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്. സമീപത്തുള്ള ഒരാൾ അധികൃതരെ വിവരമറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് ഏഴുകോൺ പോലീസെത്തി ഈ പോസ്റ്റ് മാറ്റിയിട്ടു.
പിന്നീട് മണിക്കൂറുകൾക്ക് ശേഷം റെയിൽവേ പോലീസ് എത്തി പരിശോധന നടത്തിയപ്പോൾ വീണ്ടും പോസ്റ്റ് കണ്ടെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇതാണ് അട്ടിമറിശ്രമത്തിലേക്കുള്ള സംശയം വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
പാലരുവി എക്സ്‌സ്പ്രസടക്കം കടന്നുപോകുന്ന സമയത്താണ് പോസ്റ്റ് കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ ട്രെയിൻ എത്തുന്നതിന് മുമ്പേ പോസ്റ്റ് മാറ്റാൻ സാധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് റെയിൽവേ പോലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഇതിനിടെ സമീപത്തെ ഒരു സിസിടിവി ദൃശ്യം പോലീസിന് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ ദൃശ്യം കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചാണ് ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ അന്വേഷണം.
Kollam: A telephone pole was found lying across the railway track in Kundara. The Punalur Railway Police have launched an investigation into the incident, focusing on whether it was an attempt to sabotage the train.
The pole was first discovered on the railway track around 1:30 AM on Saturday. A nearby resident noticed it and informed the authorities. Subsequently, Ezhuconn Police arrived at the scene and removed the pole.
However, hours later, when the Railway Police conducted another inspection, they found another pole placed across the track. This raised further suspicion of an attempted sabotage.
The pole was found at a time when trains, including the Palaruvi Express, were scheduled to pass through. Fortunately, authorities managed to remove it before any train arrived. Meanwhile, the police have obtained CCTV footage from a nearby location, which is now a key part of the ongoing investigation.
