Omassery: സ്ത്രീ ശാക്തീകരണ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി Omassery പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം തുടക്കമിട്ട ‘അവൾക്കായി’ പദ്ധതിയുടെ രണ്ടാം ഘട്ടം പൂർത്തിയായി. പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ 2024-25 വാർഷിക പദ്ധതിയിലെ പ്ലാൻ ഫണ്ടിൽ നിന്നും 2.40 ലക്ഷം രൂപ ചെലവഴിച്ച്‌ 800 സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക്‌ മെൻസ്‌ ട്രുവൽ കപ്പ്‌ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.
പദ്ധതിയിലുൾപ്പെടുത്തി ആദ്യ ഘട്ടത്തിൽ ഹരിത കർമ്മ സേന അംഗങ്ങൾ, ആശാ പ്രവർത്തകർ, അങ്കണവാടി വർക്കേഴ്സ്‌, അങ്കണവാടി ഹെൽപേഴ്സ്‌, കുടുംബശ്രീ സി.ഡി.എസ്‌.മെമ്പർമാർ എന്നിവർക്ക്‌ മെൻസ്ട്രുവൽ കപ്പ്‌ കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം സൗജന്യമായി വിതരണം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഈ വർഷം പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ 19 വാർഡുകളിൽ നിന്നും അപേക്ഷിച്ച മുഴുവൻ പേർക്കുമാണ്‌ മെൻസ്ട്രുവൽ കപ്പ്‌ സൗജന്യമായി വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്‌.
പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി ഹാളിൽ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ പി.കെ.ഗംഗാധരൻ വിതരണോൽഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. വൈസ്‌ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ ഫാത്വിമ അബു അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. ഗുണഭോക്താക്കൾക്കുള്ള ഏകദിന പരിശീലനവും ബോധവൽക്കരണവും പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ വികസന സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ യൂനുസ്‌ അമ്പലക്കണ്ടി ഉൽഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ആരോഗ്യ-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്റ്റാന്റിംഗ്‌ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ കെ.കരുണാകരൻ മാസ്റ്റർ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. നിർവ്വഹണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥ മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസർ ഡോ:പി.രമ്യ പദ്ധതി വിശദീകരിച്ചു. പഞ്ചായത്തംഗങ്ങളായ പി.അബ്ദുൽ നാസർ, സൈനുദ്ദീൻ കൊളത്തക്കര, സി.എ.ആയിഷ ടീച്ചർ, ഹെൽത്ത്‌ ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ കിഷോർ കുമാർ എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു. ജനപ്രതിനിധികൾ, കുടുംബശ്രീ പ്രവർത്തകർ, ആശ വർക്കേഴ്സ്‌, ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവർത്തകർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
In the first phase, Haritha Karma Sena members, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and helpers, and Kudumbashree CDS members were provided with free menstrual cups. This year, all applicants from 19 wards of the panchayat received menstrual cups at no cost.
The distribution event took place at the Panchayat Community Hall, inaugurated by Panchayat President P.K. Gangadharan, with Vice President Fathima Abu presiding over the function. A one-day training and awareness session for the beneficiaries was inaugurated by Panchayat Development Standing Committee Chairman Yunus Ambalakkandi, while Health & Education Standing Committee Chairman K. Karunakaran Master chaired the session. Medical Officer Dr. P. Ramya explained the project details.
Several local representatives, including P. Abdul Nassar, Sainudheen Kolathakkara, C.A. Ayesha Teacher, and Health Inspector Kishore Kumar, addressed the gathering. Various public representatives, Kudumbashree workers, ASHA workers, and healthcare professionals actively participated in the event.
