വെഞ്ഞാറമൂട് കൂട്ടക്കൊലപാതക കേസിൽ പ്രതി അഫാനുമായുള്ള മൂന്നാം ഘട്ട തെളിവെടുപ്പ് പൂർത്തിയായി. സഹോദരൻ അഹ്‌സാനെയും പെൺസുഹൃത്ത് ഫർസാനെയെയും കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയത് എങ്ങനെയെന്ന് പെരുമലയിലെ വീട്ടിൽ വെച്ച് അഫാൻ വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ഇവിടുൾപ്പെടെ ഏഴ് സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലെത്തിച്ചാണ് തെളിവെടുപ്പ് നടത്തിയത്.
രാവിലെ ഒമ്പതരയോടെ അഫാനെ ആദ്യം കൊണ്ടുപോയത് പെരുമലയിലെ വീട്ടിലേക്കാണ്. പിതൃസഹോദരൻ ലത്തീഫിനെയും ഭാര്യ സാജിതയെയും കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയതിന് ശേഷമാണ് പെരുമലയിലെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി എത്തി അഫാൻ സഹോദരൻ അഹ്‌സാനെയും കാമുകി ഫർസാനയെയും ചുറ്റിക കൊണ്ട് തലയ്ക്കടിച്ച് കൊന്നത്.
വീട്ടിലേക്ക് കയറിയ വിധവും കൊലപാതക രീതിയും പ്രതി വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ഇതിന് ശേഷം സ്വർണം പണയം വെച്ച ധനകാര്യ സ്ഥാപനത്തിലും എലിവിഷം വാങ്ങിയ കടയിലും പ്രതിയെ എത്തിച്ച് തെളിവെടുപ്പ് നടത്തി.

Around 9:30 AM, Afan was first taken to the house in Perumala. After murdering his paternal uncle Latheef and his wife Sajitha, Afan returned to the house in Perumala, where he killed his brother Ahsan and his lover Farsana by striking them on the head with a hammer.
The accused demonstrated how he entered the house and carried out the murders. Following this, he was taken to a financial institution where he pawned gold and to a shop where he purchased rat poison for further evidence collection.
