Pathanamthitta: എൺപതുകാരനായ അച്ഛനെ ക്രൂരമായി മർദിച്ച മകൻ അറസ്റ്റിൽ. നൂറനാട് പടനിലം നെടുകുളഞ്ഞിമുറി മാധവം വീട്ടിൽ രാമകൃഷ്ണപിള്ളയെ മർദിച്ച കേസിലാണ് സമീപത്തെ വീടായ ലക്ഷ്മിഭവനത്തിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന മകൻ അജീഷ് (43) അറസ്റ്റിലായത്മാർച്ച് ഒൻപതിനു വൈകുന്നേരം ആറിനായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. സ്വത്തിനെച്ചൊല്ലിയുള്ള തർക്കത്തിനിടെ രാമകൃഷ്ണപിള്ളയെ നിലത്തിട്ടു ചവിട്ടുകയും വിറകു കഷണം കൊണ്ട് കൈയിലും കാലിലുമടിച്ച് പരിക്കേൽപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തെന്ന് പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. മൂക്കിനും പൊട്ടലുണ്ട്. സംഭവശേഷം മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ ഓഫ് ചെയ്ത് മുങ്ങിയ പ്രതിയെ പടനിലത്തുനിന്നാണു പിടിച്ചത്.
നാട്ടുകാർ രാമകൃഷ്ണപിള്ളയെ ആദ്യം നൂറനാട്ടെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിലാണു പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. പിന്നീട് തിരുവല്ലയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലെ തീവ്രപരിചണ വിഭാഗത്തിലേക്കു മാറ്റി.
ചികിത്സയ്ക്കുശേഷം വ്യാഴാഴ്‌ചയാണ് രാമകൃഷ്ണപിള്ള വീട്ടിലെത്തിയത്. മാവേലിക്കര കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരാക്കിയ അജീഷിനെ റിമാൻഡുചെയ്തു. എസ്എച്ച്ഒ ശ്രീകുമാർ, എസ്ഐ എസ്. നിതീഷ എന്നിവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ്.
Pathanamthitta: Son Brutally Assaults 80-Year-Old Father, Arrested. An 80-year-old father was brutally assaulted by his son over a financial dispute in Pathanamthitta. The accused, Ajeesh (43), residing at Lakshmi Bhavanam, was arrested for attacking his father, Ramakrishna Pillai, of Madhavam House, Nedukulanji Muri, Padanilam.
The incident occurred on March 9 at around 6 PM. According to the police, Ajeesh knocked his father to the ground, stomped on him, and beat him with a wooden log, causing severe injuries, including a nasal fracture. After the attack, Ajeesh switched off his mobile phone and went into hiding but was later arrested from Padanilam.
Locals rushed Ramakrishna Pillai to a private hospital in Nooranad before shifting him to the ICU of a private medical college in Thiruvalla. He was discharged and returned home on Thursday. Ajeesh was presented before the Mavelikkara court and remanded. The arrest was carried out under the leadership of SHO Sreekumar and SI S. Nitheesh.
