Kalpetta: നൂൽപ്പുഴയിൽ കാട്ടാന ആക്രമണത്തിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട മാനുവിന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ കാണാനില്ലെന്ന് വിവരം. മാനുവിന്റെ മൃതദേഹത്തിന് തൊട്ടടുത്ത് നിന്നും ഭാര്യയുടെ ഷാൾ കണ്ടെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. കാട്ടാന ആക്രമണത്തിൽ ഒരാൾക്ക് കൂടി പരിക്കേറ്റതായി സംശയമുണ്ടെന്ന് I.C. Balakrishnan MLA അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. നൂൽപ്പുഴ കാപ്പാട് ഉന്നതിയിലെ മാനു (45) ആണ് കാട്ടാനയുടെ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്.
അതേ സമയം മൃതദേഹം സ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്ന് മാറ്റാൻ അനുവദിക്കാതെ നാട്ടുകാർ പ്രതിഷേധം തുടരുകയാണ്. കളക്ടർ വരാതെ മൃതദേഹം മാറ്റാൻ അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാരുടെ നിലപാട്. തുടർച്ചയായ ആക്രമണങ്ങൾ തടയാൻ ഒന്നും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലെന്നാണ് ഇവരുടെ വിമർശനം.
Kalpetta: The wife of Manu, who was killed in a wild elephant attack in Noolpuzha, has gone missing. Her shawl was found near Manu’s body. There are also suspicions that another person might have been injured in the attack, as stated by MLA I.C. Balakrishnan. Manu (45), a resident of Noolpuzha Kappad Unnathi, lost his life in the elephant attack.
Meanwhile, locals continue their protest, refusing to allow the body to be moved from the site. They have demanded that the collector arrive at the scene before the body is taken away. The protestors have criticized the authorities for failing to take effective measures to prevent recurring elephant attacks.
