Kannur: കണ്ണൂർ അഴീക്കോട് മീൻകുന്ന് കടലിൽ തിരയിൽപ്പെട്ട് രണ്ടു യുവാക്കളെ കാണാതായി. വാരം വലിയന്നൂർ വെള്ളോറ ഹൗസിൽ പ്രിനീഷ് (27), പട്ടാനൂർ കൊടോളിപ്രം അനന്ദ നിയലത്തിൽ ഗണേഷ് (28)എന്നിവരെയാണ് കാണാതായത്.
തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ട് നാലിനാണ് സംഭവം. പാറക്കെട്ടിൽനിന്നു ഫോട്ടോ എടുത്തശേഷം കടലിൽ നീന്തുന്നതിനിടെ തിരയിൽപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. യുവാക്കൾ തിരയിൽപ്പെടുന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെട്ട കരയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നവരും പരിസരവാസികളും അഗ്നിരക്ഷാ സേനയേയും പൊലീസിനേയും വിവരമറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തിരച്ചിൽ നടത്തിയെങ്കിലും കണ്ടെത്താനായില്ല. മുങ്ങൽ വിദഗ്ധർ ഉൾപ്പെടെ എത്തി തിരച്ചിൽ പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണ്. കടലിൽ ശക്തമായ തിരയിടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
Kannur: Two young men went missing after being caught in waves in the sea at Meenkunnu, Azheekode, Kannur. The missing are Prineesh (27) from Velloor House, Valiyannanur, and Ganesh (28) from Ananda Niyalath, Kotolipram, Pattanur.
The incident occurred on Monday at around 4 pm. After taking photos from the rocks, they went swimming in the sea and were caught in the waves. People on the shore and nearby residents noticed them struggling in the waves and informed the fire rescue team and police. Despite search efforts, they have not been found. Rescue divers have joined the search, which is ongoing amid strong waves in the sea.
