Kodancherry: പതങ്കയത്ത് കുളിക്കാനിറങ്ങിയ യുവാവ് മുങ്ങി മരിച്ചു. ഇന്ന് വൈകിട്ട് മൂന്നുമണിയോടുകൂടി കുളിക്കാൻ ഇറങ്ങിയ മലപ്പുറം വള്ളിക്കുന്ന് സ്വദേശിയായ റഹീസ് സഹിഷാദ് ( 20) ആണ് വെള്ളത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിയത്. ഉടൻ കോടഞ്ചേരിയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
മലപ്പുറം വള്ളിക്കുന്ന് ആനങ്ങാടി തൂലിക്കൽ അബ്ബാസിൻ്റെ മകനാണ്. കൂടെയുള്ളവരും നാട്ടുകാരും ചേർന്ന് രക്ഷാ പ്രവർത്തനം നടത്തി. വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരത്തിന് എത്തിയ 10 അംഗ സംഘത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടയാളാണ് റഹീസ്.
Kodancherry: Youth drowns while bathing in Pathankayam. Rahis Sahishad (20), a native of Vallikkunnu in Malappuram, drowned while bathing in Pathankayam around 3 PM today. Though he was rushed to a private hospital in Kodancherry, his life could not be saved.
He was the son of Abbas from Thoolikkal, Anangadi, Vallikkunnu, Malappuram. Locals and his friends joined together in the rescue effort. Rahis was part of a 10-member group that had come for a leisure trip.
