Kodanchery: കോടഞ്ചേരിയിലെ പതിവില തട്ടിപ്പിന് ഇരയായവർ ധർണ്ണ നടത്തി. ഗ്രാമശ്രി മിഷൻ എന്ന സംഘടന സ്ത്രീ ശാക്തീകരണത്തിൻ്റെ പേര് പറഞ്ഞ് പകുതി വിലക്ക് ഇരു ചക്രവാഹനവും ലാപ്ടോപ്പും നൽകാം എന്ന് വാഗ്ദാനം നൽകി കോടികളുടെ തട്ടിപ്പിന് നേതൃത്വം കൊടുത്ത സംഘടനയുടെ ചെയർമാൻ ജോയി നെടുംപള്ളിക്കെതിരെ കേസ് എടുത്ത് നിയമനടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ട് സമരസമിതിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ധർണ്ണ നടത്തി.
ധർണ്ണയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ട് CPIM ജില്ലാ കമ്മറ്റി അംഗവും ഏരിയ സെക്രട്ടറിയുമായ വി. കെ വിനോദ് സംസാരിച്ചു. സമരസമിതി കൺവീനർ റൈഫിൽ രാജു സ്വാഗതം പറഞ്ഞു. ചെയർമാൻ ഷിജി ആൻ്റണി അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ച യോഗത്തിൽ സിപിഐ എം ലോക്കൽ സെക്രട്ടറി പി.ജി സാബു, ജനാധിപത്യ മഹിള അസോസിയേഷൻ മേഖല പ്രസിഡൻറ് ബിന്ദു ജോർജ്, DYFI ബ്ലോക്ക് എക്സികൂട്ടീവ് അംഗം ശരത് സി.എസ് സമരസമിതി അംഗം സെബാസ്റ്റ്യൻ കുപ്പായ കോട് എന്നിവർ സമരത്തിന് ഐക്യദാർഡ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു. ധർണക്ക് ജോബി നൂറാംതോട് നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു.
Kodanchery: Victims of the half-price scam in Kodanchery organized a protest. The protest was led by a strike committee demanding legal action and registration of a case against Joy Nedumpalli, the chairman of the organization Gramasree Mission, which allegedly promised women empowerment programs but ended up leading a multi-crore scam by offering two-wheelers and laptops at half price.
The protest was inaugurated by V.K. Vinod, CPI(M) District Committee member and Area Secretary. Strike Committee Convenor Rifle Raju delivered the welcome address. The meeting was presided over by Chairperson Shiji Antony. CPI(M) Local Secretary P.G. Sabu, Democratic Women’s Association (Mahila Association) Area President Bindu George, DYFI Block Executive Member Sharath C.S., and Strike Committee Member Sebastian Kuppayakode also spoke, expressing their solidarity with the protest. Joby Nooramthode extended the vote of thanks.
