Kollam: കൊല്ലം ചവറയിൽ 17 ഗ്രാം MDMA യുമായി ബോക്ിങ് പരിശീലകനായ യുവാവ് പിടിയിൽ. പൻമന വടുതല സ്വദേശി ഗോകുലാണ് (28) പിടിയിലായത്. ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെ 3 മണിയോടെയാണ് പ്രതിയെ എക്സൈസ് സംഘം പിടികൂടിയത്. ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ക്ലീൻ സ്ലേറ്റിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി Excise Enforcement & Anti-Narcotics Special Squad പരിശോധന ശക്തമായിരുന്നു. ഗ്രാമ മേഖലയിൽ വിൽപന നടത്തുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയാണ് MDMA എത്തിച്ചത് എന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ മൊത്ത വിതരണക്കാരനിൽ നിന്നാണ് പ്രതി MDMA വാങ്ങിയത്. ഇയാളെക്കുറിച്ചും സൂചന ലഭിച്ചതായി എക്സൈസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
Kollam: A boxing trainer was arrested with 17 grams of MDMA in Chavara, Kollam. The accused, identified as 28-year-old Gokul, a resident of Panmana Vaduthala, was apprehended by the Excise team around 3 AM today.
As part of Operation Clean Slate, the Excise Enforcement & Anti-Narcotics Special Squad had intensified inspections in the area. According to the police, the MDMA was brought in for distribution in rural areas. The accused reportedly procured the drug from a wholesale supplier in Thiruvananthapuram, and the Excise team has received further leads regarding the supplier.
