Kozhikode: ഫറോക്ക് മണ്ണൂരില്‍ സ്വകാര്യ ബസുകൾക്കിടയിൽപ്പെട്ട് ബൈക്ക് യാത്രക്കാരന് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. മേലെപ്പറമ്പിൽ പാച്ചേരി ജഗദീഷ് ബാബു(45) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. മണ്ണൂർ പ്രബോധിനി വായനശാലക്ക് സമീപം ഇന്നലെ വൈകീട്ട് നാലുമണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം.
ഒരേ ദിശയിൽ വരികയായിരുന്ന രണ്ടു ബസുകൾക്കിടയില്‍ ബൈക്ക് യാത്രികനായ ജഗദീഷ് ബാബു കുടുങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. ചാലിയം-മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ് റൂട്ടില്‍ സർവീസ് നടത്തുന്ന ‘നജീബ്’ ബസിനെ മറികടക്കാനെത്തിയ പരപ്പനങ്ങാടി-കോഴിക്കോട് റൂട്ടില്‍ സർവീസ് നടത്തുന്ന ‘ചെമ്പകം’ ബസ് ജഗദീഷിന്റെ ബൈക്കിൽ തട്ടിയതോടെ ബസിനടിയിൽ പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
Kozhikode: A tragic accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist at Farook Mannur when he got caught between two private buses. The deceased has been identified as P. Jagadeesh Babu (45) from Meleparambil Pacheri. The accident occurred around 4 PM near the Mannur Prabodhini Library.
Jagadeesh Babu was riding his bike in the same direction as the two buses when he got trapped between them. The ‘Chembakam’ bus, operating on the Parappanangadi–Kozhikode route, attempted to overtake the ‘Najeeb’ bus, which was traveling on the Chaliyam–Medical College route. During this maneuver, the Chembakam bus hit Jagadeesh’s bike, causing him to fall under the bus. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
