Kozhikode: വെള്ളയിൽ പുലിമുട്ടിൽ ഇടിച്ച് വള്ളം മറിഞ്ഞ് ഒരു മരണം. മത്സ്യബന്ധന വള്ളം മറിഞ്ഞ് വെള്ളയിൽ സ്വദേശി ഹംസയാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 11 മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിനായി പോയ ഫൈബർ വള്ളമാണ് മറിഞ്ഞത്. ഹംസക്കൊപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നവരെ പരിക്കുകളോടെ ബീച്ച് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. പുലിമുട്ടിൽ ഇടിച്ചാണ് വള്ളം മറിഞ്ഞതെന്നാണ് വിവരം.
കൊയിലാണ്ടി ഹാർബറിൽ നിന്ന് മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിനു പോയ മറ്റൊരു വള്ളവും ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ മറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. ഗരുഡ എന്ന തോണിയായിരുന്നു മറിഞ്ഞത്. വള്ളത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികൾ കടലിലേക്കു വീണു. സംഭവം കണ്ട മറ്റൊരു തോണിയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നവർ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികളെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
Kozhikode: A fisherman died after a fiber fishing boat capsized near Pulimuttu in Vellayil, Kozhikode, on Tuesday around 11 a.m. The deceased has been identified as Hamsa, a native of Vellayil. The boat capsized after hitting a submerged rock (Pulimuttu). Others who were on board sustained injuries and were admitted to the Beach Hospital.
Earlier the same morning, another fishing boat named Garuda from the Koyilandy harbour also capsized. The fishermen on board fell into the sea but were rescued by crew members of a nearby boat who witnessed the incident.
